SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 4-13 all-time against Tufts in a series that dates back to 1979.

• Camden Kelleher scored six times and Tufts used a 6-1 run that spanned parts of the third and fourth quarters to pull away for a 16-9 win over the Beavers on April 19, 2022, in Babson Park.

• No. 11 USILA/No. 9 USA Lacrosse Babson (11-2) has won a program-record 10 straight games after defeating Salve Regina, 18-9, on Saturday afternoon.

SCOUTING THE JUMBOS
• No. 4 USILA/No. 4 USA Lacrosse Tufts (10-2) has won two straight games and is coming off a 23-11 rout of Middlebury on Saturday.
• Jack Regnery (6g,1a), Max Ettinghausen (3g,3a) and Charlie Tagliaferri (3ga,2a) combined for 18 points, while Parker Merril won 14-of-20 face-offs and picked up eight ground balls for the Jumbos, who outscored the Panthers 8-0 in the first quarter.
• Regnery (47-25-72) ranks seventh in Division III averaging 6.09 points per game, Brooks Hauser (28-21-49) has produced at least four points in nine games and Ettinghausen (32-15-47) has scored in every game this spring.
• Merril and Victor Salcedo have combined to win 59.3 percent of their face-offs, Joey Waldbaum leads the defense with 46 ground balls and 18 caused turnovers, and Garzone has posted a 10.90 goals against average and a .519 save percentage in 12 starts.
HISTORY LESSON
• The Beavers set a new program record with their 10th consecutive victory on Saturday, surpassing the previous mark of nine straight wins back in 2016.
• Babson also won eight games in a row in 2014 and seven consecutive outings in 1979 on the way to earning the program's first NCAA Tournament berth.
AMONG THE NATION'S BEST
• Fascilla, who is 10-0 as a starter this spring, ranks eighth in save percentage (.631) and 14th in goals against average (8.11).
• Turco ranks 15th in face-off winning percentage (.661), while Rainville ranks 16th nationally in goals per game (3.77) and 33rd in points per game (4.92).
WHAT TO WATCH FOR
• Tuesday's contest will feature two of the best man-up units in the country as Babson ranks sixth converting on 55 percent of its opportunities (22-of-40), while Tufts ranks fifth scoring 21 times on 38 extra-man opportunities.
• The Beavers rank 39th nationally in scoring defense (8.85 goals per game) and have allowed nine or fewer goals in six consecutive games, while the Jumbos rank fifth in Division III in scoring offense (17.42) and have put up at least 17 goals in all 10 of their wins in addition to attempting 50 or more shots in nine of 12 outings.
• The Green and White ranks 23rd in Division III in face-off winning percentage (.633), while Tufts boasts a .566 face-off winning percentage and has won more than its opponents in seven consecutive games.
IRON SHARPENS IRON
• Tufts is the fifth nationally-ranked opponent the Beavers have faced this season, and the fourth from the NESCAC.
• Babson suffered 14-13 road losses to both Union (February 25) and Williams (March 2) before defeating Middlebury 8-6, on March 10 and Bowdoin 13-6 on March 26 in Babson Park.
