Nate Amado (Hanson, Mass.) led all scorers with 24 points to help visiting Babson College defeat No. 6 College of Wooster, 69-61, in the finale of the E.M. "Mose" Hole/Kiwanis Classic on Monday night inside Timken Gymnasium.
Babson, which has won three straight and four of its last five games, improves to 6-4 with the win while handing Wooster (11-1) its first loss of the season.

Felix Kloman (Ipswich, Mass.) finished with 16 points, three rebounds, three steals and two assists on the way to earning E.M. "Mose" Hole Tournament MVP honors. Classmate
Alex Stoddard (Wellesley, Mass.) scored nine of his 11 points in the second half and grabbed six boards, also earned a spot on the all-tournament team.
Senior Jamir Billings (Lorain, Ohio) posted a double-double with 22 points and a game-high 10 rebounds, while classmate Nick Everett (Salem, Ohio) chipped in with 15 points and five boards to lead the Fighting Scots.
The lead changed hands six times over the first 11 minutes of the game before the Green and White used a 10-2 run that included buckets from five different players to build a 32-25 advantage on a jumper by Stoddard with 4:35 to go in the first half. Wooster got back within four on a layup by Everett but first-year
Vaughn Foster (Paramus, N.J.) converted a reverse layup and Kloman followed a jumper with a blocked shot in the closing seconds of the stanza to send the Beavers into the locker room leading 37-31.
The Fighting Scots cut their deficit to just one less than 90 seconds into the second half only to see Babson answer with a 9-3 spurt that pushed the margin back to 46-39 on a pair of free throws by Kloman with 15:22 to play. The hosts pulled within five twice over the next two minutes and got within four on a layup by senior JJ Cline (Wooster, Ohio) with 10:32 remaining before Stoddard knocked down a pair of triples around a layup by junior
Timmy O'Toole (Milton, Mass.) to give the Beavers their largest lead of the game at 58-48 with 8:52 to play.
Wooster answered with a 9-0 run to get within one on a three-pointer by Billings with 5:59 left, but as they had all night the Beavers responded with big hoops. Amado knocked down a jumper on the ensuing possession and followed it up with a three-pointer to make it 63-57 before Stoddard canned his third triple of the half to make it 66-58 with 3:49 left.
The Green and White, which saw nine different players score, shot 55.2 percent in the first half and 46.4 percent for the game. The Fighting Scots, which finished with a 40-30 edge on the glass, shot 36.5 percent for the game and just 28.6 percent in the second half.
Both teams return to action on Saturday as Babson hosts No. 3 Trinity at 1:30 p.m., while Wooster takes on Wittenberg at 7 p.m.
GAME NOTES
• Monday's game was the first all-time between Babson and Wooster and the Beavers' first in program history against an opponent from the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC).
• Monday's victory was the second this season against a top-15 opponent and was the first for Babson against a top-10 foe since knocking off then-No. 8 MIT 84-71 in overtime on January 31, 2018.
• Kloman averaged 19.0 points on 53.6 percent shooting to go along with 3.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 2.5 steals and 2.0 blocks, while Amado put up 18.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.5 steals and 3.0 assists in the Beavers' wins over Case Western Reserve and Wooster.
• Babson is now 6-1 this winter when holding its opponents below 70 points and 4-0 when its foes shoot below 40 percent.
