WHAT TO KNOW
• The Babson men's and women's swimmers will travel to Bristol, R.I., for the Fisher Invitational Friday and Saturday, hosted by Roger Williams University. Preliminaries will begin at 10 a.m. daily, with finals set to start at 5:30 p.m.
• Since there is no diving at Roger Williams, the Beaver men's and women's divers will head into Boston both days for the Terrier Invite, hosted by Boston University.
• Diving preliminaries at BU will start at approximately 1 p.m. and finals will commence 15 minutes after the conclusion of preliminaries, ending before 5 p.m. Friday will feature women's 1-meter and men's 3-meter while Saturday will include women's 3-meter and men's 1-meter. The meet will include participants from BU, Babson, Boston College, Fairfield, NJIT, UMass, and Bryant.
A LOOK BACK
• Babson will be making its first appearance at the Fisher Invitational; a multi-team meet that includes morning preliminaries and evening finals. This year's meet will include RWU, Babson, Eastern Connecticut and Wheaton.
• Host Roger Williams dominated the women's meet last year with 628 points, well ahead of runner-up Norwich (160). The women's meet also included Maine Maritime, Regis, Rhode Island College, Saint Joseph (Conn.) and UMass Dartmouth.
• The host Hawks also captured the men's event with 471 points, ahead of runner-up Norwich (293). Rounding out the field was Maine Maritime, Regis, and Saint Joseph (Conn.).
SCOUTING THE BABSON MEN
• The Beavers (4-2) is competing for the first time since a 231-44 rout over Clark back on November 2 inside Morse Pool.

Anthony Taslakov and
David Krol, and first-years
William Iglar and
Liam Maloney were double winners in individual events for the Beavers. Anutarasoti captured the 50 breaststroke and the 100 IM while D'Elia touched the wall first in the 200 free and the 50 fly. Taslakov was the winner of the 100 fly and the 100 breast and Krol was the high scorer in both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving. Iglar brought home first place in the 1000 free and the 100 back and finished second in the 50 fly, and Maloney won the 50 free and the 500 free.

Thomas Ambelang captured the 100 free and swam on both winning relay teams, and classmate
Nehemiah Rhee won the 50 back and finished runner-up in the 100 breast.
SCOUTING THE BABSON WOMEN
• The Beavers (5-3) are coming off a 182-97 victory over Division I Stonehill last Friday inside Morse Pool.
• The Beavers won 14 out of 16 events with first-years
Tuana Turhan and
Julia Netishen leading the way. Turhan walked away with three individual wins (100 fly, 200 fly, 200 IM) while Netishen won a pair of events of her own (50 free, 100 free).

Kendall Garvey won both the 500 and 1000 freestyle events and classmate
Elina Sung swept the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events. Other individual event winners included first-year

SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
• With her performance in the Stonehill meet, Turhan was named the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Women's Swimmer of the Week on Monday.
• Turhan recorded victories in three individual events and was part of a first-place finish in the 400 medley relay to help Babson to the dominant win. She is the second Beaver athlete to be named Swimmer of the Week this season, joining Netishen who earned the honor back in October.
TOP PERFORMERS
• Babson rookies continue to enjoy outstanding seasons and make their marks on the Babson list of all-time top performers.
• Netishen has set the program record in the 50 free (24.13) and ranks fourth in the 100 back (1:00.64) and seventh in the 100 free (55.03) while Turham is third in both the 100 fly (58.89) and 200 fly (2:09.75) and fourth in the 200 IM (2:12.90).
• Gershanok debuted in 10th place in the 200 back (2:16.79) and Gilbert is 10th in the 200 breast (2:36.23).
UP NEXT
• After a semester break and time off for the holidays, the Beavers will return to action with a dual meet at Amherst on January 3 and a home meet vs. Wesleyan on January 4.
