BABSON PARK, Mass. —The Babson College men's swimming and diving team took first place in all 16 events and finished second in 13 events to defeat Clark University, 231-44, in a dual meet Saturday afternoon inside Morse Pool.
With the win, the Beavers improve to 4-2 in dual meets this season while Clark is 0-1 after competing in its first meet of the season.

Pat Anusarasoti (Bangkok, Thailand) and

Anthony Taslakov (Sherborn, Mass.) and

Liam Maloney (Tampa, Fla.) were double winners in individual events for the Beavers. First-year
Thomas Ambelang (Bernardsville, N.J.) captured one individual event and swam on both winning relay teams, and classmate
Nehemiah Rhee (Paramus, N.J.) was a winner in one individual event and one relay.
Anutarasoti captured the 50 breaststroke in 26.88 seconds and the 100 IM in 53.06, while D'Elia touched the wall first in the 200 freestyle in 1:51.24 and the 50 fly in 24.86 seconds. Taslakov was the winner of the 100 fly in 54.74 seconds and the 100 breast in 1:04.78 and Krol was the high scorer in both the 1-meter (265.06) and 3-meter (292.25) diving events. Iglar brought home first place in the 1000 free in 10:20.02 and the 100 back in 57.44 and finished second in the 50 fly in 25.02, and Maloney won the 50 free in 23.69 seconds and the 500 free in 5:03.26.
Ambelang finished in first place in the 100 free in 50.47 seconds and second in the 200 free in 1:53.84, and Rhee won the 50 back in 25.23 seconds and finished runner-up in the 100 breast (1:04.94). Ambelang was joined by Maloney, sophomore
Chase Stevens (Suffield, Conn.) and Rhee on the winning 200 medley relay team, and teamed up with Maloney, graduate student
Cole Seeger (Lakewood, Ill.) and Taslakov on the winning 200 free relay squad.
First-year
Phillip Spiridonov (Ridgewood, N.J.) turned in a pair of second place finishes in the 50 back (26.93) and 100 back (57.63), and classmate
Ilaan Garware (Pune, India) was runner-up in the 1000 free (10:43.15) and 500 free (5:12.45). Other runner-up finishes included junior
Hawken Hammen (East Lyme, Conn.) in the 100 fly (55.85), junior
Marcelo Carrion (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) in the 100 free (51.06), first-year
Tommy Hannenian (Sacramento, Calif.) in the 50 breast (28.99), and first-year
Dom Crisafulli (Natick, Mass.) in the 100 IM (58.52).
The Beavers return to competition at the Fisher Invitational at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I., on November 22-23.
