WHAT TO KNOW
• The Babson men's and women's swimming & diving teams open the 2024-25 season with a dual meet against Regis on Saturday morning inside Morse Pool.
• The Beavers and Pride will compete in 13 events.
SERIES HISTORY
• The Babson men have won all seven dual meets against Regis going back to 2008.
• The Babson women are 5-2 in seven meets versus the Pride since 2008, which includes five consecutive victories going back to 2018.
LAST MEETING
• The Babson men 15 of 16 events on the way to recording a 238-39 victory, while the Babson women took first place in all 15 events in a dominating 205-63 win over Regis on October 14, 2023, in Babson Park.
• Joshua Kim '24 (200 free, 200 IM), junior
Zackary Cheung (50 back, 100 back) and Spencer Ernst (500 free, 1000 free) each won two events apiece, and sophomore
David Krol swept both the 1- and 3-meter diving events for the Beavers in the men's half of the meet.

Audrey Daniels (50 fly, 100 free, 200 IM) both finished first in three events, while
Sophia Swain (200 free, 500 free) and senior
Maggie Cassily (50 back, 100 back) each recorded a pair of victories to lead the Babson women.
A LOOK BACK ON 2023-24
• The Babson men set six school records and recorded 740.5 points, their highest total since 2002, on the way to finishing fourth at the NEWMAC Championships last February.
• Seniors
Aidan Downey-Lamprey and
Pat Anutarasoti also teamed with Nathan Ford '24 and Blake Albanese '24 to earn the Beavers' first all-conference award since 2014 with their runner-up finish in the 200-yard freestyle relay.
• The Babson women set a pair of program records and recorded their fifth consecutive seventh-place finish at the conference meet.
ABOUT THE BABSON MEN
• The Beavers return 13 competitors from a team that went 5-6 in dual meets last winter.
• Anutarasoti holds school records in both the 50 breaststroke and 100 butterfly and both he and Downey-Lamprey helped the Green and White set four program marks in the relays back in 2023.
• Senior
Matt D'Elia finished fifth in the 200 butterfly, while sophomore
Anthony Taslakov came in fifth in the 200 back and 200 free and sixth in the 500 free at last year's NEWMAC Championships.
• Krol set a new 6-dive program record with a score of 321.35 last February against Bridgewater State and became the first Babson diver to qualify for the NCAA Diving Regionals since Aaron Paradis '10 back in 2010.
ABOUT THE BABSON WOMEN
• The Beavers bring back 15 veterans from a team that went 6-7 in dual meet competition in 2023-24.
• Senior
Kendall Garvey set a new program mark with her time of 18:16.30 in the 1650 free, while the duo of Daniels and junior
Sophia Sznewajs are part of Babson school records in the 200 free, 400 free and 200 medley relays, all of which were set back in 2023.
• Garvey placed 11th in the 1650 free finals, senior
Emily Tran claimed fifth in the B final of the 100 backstroke, and Daniels finished seventh in the B final of the 100 breaststroke at last year's conference meet.

Vangella Randell also finished 17th in the 1650 free last February at the NEWMAC Championships.
SCOUTING THE PRIDE
• The Regis women return eight swimmers from a team that finished fourth at the GNAC Championships last February.
• Olivia Luhnau claimed a conference title in the 100 IM and earned All-GNAC accolades in the 50 breaststroke and 400 medley relay, Ava Hubster collected all-league honors in the 1650 free and 400 medley relay, and Riley Aptt placed third in the 100 backstroke at the GNAC meet.
• The Regis men bring back five competitors after finishing second at the 2024 GNAC Championships.
• Cody Werner was the conference champion in the 50 butterfly and earned all-league honors in three other events (400 IM, 100 butterfly, and 200 butterfly), while Aryaman Nagaraj earned a pair of All-GNAC accolades with runner-up finishes in the 50 back and 200 back.
NEW FACES
• Head coach
Eric Thurston welcomes 18 swimmers and one diver to the program, a group that includes 17 first-year competitors and a pair of graduate students.
• The Beavers' first-years hail from 10 different U.S. states and two countries (Japan and India).
