NORTON, Mass.—The Babson College women's swimming & diving team dropped both ends of a double-dual meet at Wheaton College in their return from the holiday break on Saturday afternoon inside Balfour Natatorium. The Beavers fell 237-57 to the host Lyons and were beaten 241.50-46.50 by Connecticut College.
The top individual performance of the day for Babson (5-5) came in the 50-yard backstroke where junior
Emily Tran (Longmeadow, Mass.) placed third with a time of 28.88. Classmate
Audrey Daniels (Santa Monica, Calif.) came in fourth in the 50-yard breaststroke with a season-best time of 32.38, while fellow junior
Elina Sung (Dongguan, China) came in fourth in both diving events, which included a season-best score of 116.32 on the 3-meter board.

Jenny Chung (Cumming, Ga.) and
Emma Chenski (Hopewell Junction, N.Y.) took fourth place with a time of 3:54.41 in the 400-yard freestyle relay, while first-year
Sylvie Racicot (Arlington, Mass.) came in fifth in the 50 free (25.81) and sixth in the 100 free (57.35). Belfonti added sixth-place results in both the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:03.38 and the 50-yard butterfly in a time of 28.22.

Babson returns to action next Sunday when it travels to Bentley for a 1 p.m. meet.
