Samantha Kelly (Rowley, Mass.) got on the board with her first collegiate goal. Grad student

Bayla Furmanek (State College, Pa.) stopped the only shot she faced to record her third whitewash of the season.
Junior Beth Yorns (Longmeadow, Mass.) managed the only shot for Skidmore midway through the third quarter. The Thoroughbreds used three goaltenders, with junior Victoria Bodnar (Long Valley, N.J.) making 10 saves in 32 minutes between the pipes and sophomore Juliana Yglesais (San Jose, Calif.) and first-year Nicole Sylvestri (Pittsford, N.Y.) combining for five stops in relief.
The Beavers needed just 67 seconds to put the first goal on the board when DiGiovanni converted a feed from Marsh from right in front for a goal inside the left post. Marsh pounced on a loose ball inside the circle in the 10th minute and fired a shot between the goalie's pads to double the lead to 2-0.
Babson made it 3-0 with 4:44 remaining in the second frame when a deflected shot went to Evans near the right post, and she buried her first goal of the season for a three-goal lead at the break.
The Green and White put the game out of reach with three goals in a six-minute span in the third quarter. Walsh flipped a shot over the goalie into the goal in the 32nd minute, Marsh set up McGrath for her first of the game on a slap shot from the right side that snuck inside the right post, and McGrath added her second goal four minutes later on a shot from just inside the top of the circle in the 37th minute.
Kelly rounded out the scoring for the Green and White with 5:30 remaining in the fourth quarter when she redirected a shot by Hanyon in front of the Skidmore goalie.
The Beavers finished with a 34-1 advantage in shots (22-1 in shots on goal) and took all 14 of the game's penalty corners.
Babson returns to conference play on Saturday against Wheaton at 11:30 a.m. at MacDowell Field. Skidmore visits St. Lawrence for its Liberty League opener on Saturday at 2 p.m.
