Hill collected a rebound and scored a little over a minute later to send Babson into halftime with a 6-0 margin.
After surrendering 28 shots in the first half, Wheaton played significantly better in the third quarter, holding the hosts to just six shot and keeping the Beavers off the scoreboard. Sophomore Riley Levrault (Gorham, Maine) also managed to get a shot off for the Lyons but Furmanek was there to make the save.
The Beavers tacked on three goals in the fourth quarter, including two on penalty corners.
