BABSON PARK, Mass.—Junior
Jordyn Ferrantino (Millis, Mass.) scored the only goal of the match in the 19th minute as Babson College defeated visiting Endicott College, 1-0, in non-conference women's soccer action on Wednesday afternoon at Hartwell-Rogers Field.
With its second consecutive victory, Babson improves to 3-2-1 on the year. Endicott dips to 5-2-0 on the year with the loss.

Morgan Krauss (Belmont, Mass.) picked up her team-leading second assist of the year and first-year goalkeeper
Callahan Cottone (Medway, Mass.) made five saves to record her third shutout.
Junior goalkeeper Rosalina Caliri (East Greenwich, R.I.) finished with four saves in the loss for the Gulls.
The Green and White took the lead on its first scoring chance of the game as Ferrantino touched home a cross from the right wing by Krauss for her second goal of the season. Callahan made her best save of the opening half when she came rushing off her line to deflect the first touch of Endicott senior Alexandria Dostie (Essex Junction, Vt.) before junior Alyssa McColl's (Stoughton, Mass.) shot from distance was headed out of danger by Babson junior
Laura Lukowicz (Coventry, R.I.) near the right post in the 41st minute.
Callahan made a diving save going to her right to snare McColls' shot from 12 yards in the 52nd minute for one of her two stops in the second half. Babson nearly extended its lead in the 66th minute when junior
Elisa Diletizia (Canton, Mass.) ran onto a long ball, but Caliri raced off her line to deny the scoring chance.

Camryn Ward (Southbury, Conn.) also sent her bid for an insurance marker just wide of the right post from 20 yards in the 84th minute.
The Green and White finished with a 10-9 edge in shots while both teams attempted two corner kicks.
Both teams return to action on Saturday as Babson hosts Coast Guard at 12 p.m., while Endicott takes on Suffolk at 2 p.m.

• The Beavers are 7-6-2 all-time against Endicott and have won three straight matches in the series.
