Box Score CAMBRIDGE, Mass.—Seniors Claudia Dodge (Pelham, N.Y.) and Erin Jayne (Merrimac, Mass.) and sophomore Jessica Evans (Southbury, Conn.) all scored twice during a 9-1 spurt that propelled second-seeded Babson College to a 13-10 win over 22nd-ranked and top-seeded MIT in the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Tournament final on Saturday afternoon at Jack Barry Field.

Rabenold got MIT back within a goal just past the midway point of the stanza but Babson responded with tallies by Dodge, Curtis and Jayne to make it 8-4 at halftime and another from Evans 90 seconds into the third quarter that pushed its lead to five. Goals by Rabenold and Thomas cut the Engineers' deficit to 9-6 with 1:36 to go in the third and Pyon followed with her second marker of the afternoon to make it 10-7 going to the fourth.
