SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 23-21 all-time against Wellesley in a series that dates back to 1987.
• The Beavers have won six in a row and 17 of their last 19 games versus the Blue going back to 2007.
• Each of Babson's last four victories have come by a margin of at least nine goals.

LAST MEETING
• Senior Erin Jayne tallied six points, including her 100th career point, and 10 different players scored goals as Babson coasted past Wellesley, 22-5, on April 16, 2022 at MacDowell Field.
• Jayne finished with two goals and four assists while sophomore Kathryn Blake totaled four goals and one assist and Courtney Kaskey '22 scored four times. Senior Claudia Dodge added three goals and two assists and classmate Anna Katherine Sypniewski chipped in with three goals and one assist in the win. Sophomore Clare Connolly collected seven draw controls, and sophomore Kathleen Murphy made four save between the pipes.
• Eleanor Mallett '22 led the visitors with two goals and grabbed four draw controls, while senior Liz Sugg scored once and recorded five draw controls. Junior Willa McGough and Izzy Burdick '22 also scored for the Blue, and Lorna Li '22 made six saves in goal.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (6-6, 4-1 NEWMAC) has won four of its last five games to get back to the .500 mark, including a 19-8 victory over Wheaton on Wednesday at MacDowell Field.
• Graduate student Emily Curtis and Dodge combined for seven goals and four assists and Connolly collected 14 draw controls in the win. Sophomore Jessica Evans contributed three goals and one assist, Jayne, sophomore Michaela Downer and first-year Lilly Bedard all scored twice, and Murphy was impressive in goal with 12 saves in the victory.
• Curtis (40-14-54) has registered at least three points in 11 straight games and ranks sixth in the league in goals and points, Jayne (20-20-40) is fourth in the league in assists, and Dodge (21-8-29) tops the team with 18 caused turnovers. Connolly ranks eighth in Division III with 9.33 draw controls per game.
• Murphy (10.76 goals against average, .425 save percentage) has stopped at least 50 percent of the shots she faced in four of her last five games.

SCOUTING THE BLUE
• Wellesley (4-8, 2-3 NEWMCAC) brings a two-game winning streak into Saturday's game after pulling out a 16-14 victory over Emerson on Wednesday in Boston.
• Junior Gabrielle Shell scored three of her team-high four goals in the last seven minutes of the game, breaking a 13-all tie. First-year Chloe Guntrip tallied three goals and an assist, classmates Finley Tipton and Camille Francis contributed two goals and an assist, and junior Willa McGough and sophomore Mattie Knowles scored twice each in the win. Sophomore Julee Sharma collected six ground balls, first-year Phoebe Calero grabbed nine draw controls, Francis caused four turnovers, and senior Hannah Pangborn made 11 saves in goal.
• Tipton (23-4-27) leads the Blue in goals and points while Shell (15-3-18) has six goals in her last two games and senior Liz Sugg (11-5-16) leads the team in assists. McGough has grabbed 39 draw controls, Sharma (36) and senior Salome Greene (35) are tops in ground balls, and Sharma is second in the NEWMAC has 25 caused turnovers.
• Pangborn (14.08 GAA, .392 sv. pct) is 3-3 with five starts in goal and first-year Anna Blake Patrick (14.01 GAA, .500 sv. pct) is 1-5 in seven starts.

IN THE RECORD BOOK
• With her performance against Wheaton, Connolly pushed her season total to 112 draw controls, breaking the Babson single season record of 99 set by Julia Harrigan '18 in 2018.
• Connolly is also five shy of becoming the third player in program history to record 200 draw controls.
• Jayne has moved up to fourth on the Babson all-time list with 70 career assists as well as 20th in goals (97) and 16th in points (167).
• Dodge is now tied for 10th with Kate Nichols '09 on the Babson career list with 66 caused turnovers.

WEEKLY HONOR
• Junior Eileen Manning was named NEWMAC Defensive Athlete of the Week on Monday afternoon.
• Manning made a pair of starts and picked up a career-high five ground balls while forcing two turnovers in Saturday's 22-3 victory at Mount Holyoke, helping the Beavers keep their opponent to single-digit scoring for the fourth time this season.

TIGHT RACE IN THE NEWMAC
• With five games down and four to go in the NEWMAC race, four teams are within one game of first place in the conference standings.
• MIT (5-0) is alone at the top of the conference with Babson (4-1), Springfield (4-1) and Coast Guard (4-0) just a game back. Smith (3-2) is in fifth place and Wheaton (2-3), Wellesley (2-3) and Emerson (2-3) are in a battle for the final playoff spot.

BABSON VS. THE NEWMAC
• Babson is 44-5 in regular season games against NEWMAC opponents since the start of 2016.
• Nine of the last 13 victories against conference schools going back to last season have been by at least 10 goals.

BUSY BEAVERS
• Curtis has scored at least four goals and registered at least five points in seven of her last nine games.
• Dodge has scored at least one goal in 10 straight games.
• Connolly has grabbed at least six draw controls in 10 straight outings, with double-digit numbers in three of the last four and five times overall.

NUMBERS TO KNOW
• The Beavers are 6-0 this season and 19-1 since the start of last season when scoring 12 or more goals.
• Babson has won 30 of its last 31 games when holding its foes to 10 goals or fewer.
• The Green and White are 18-2 since last season and 46-3 since the start of 2018 when leading at halftime.
