SERIES HISTORY
• Babson dropped its only previous meeting to Rochester back in 2008.
• The Beavers and Yellowjackets were scheduled to meet in 2020 before both programs had their seasons canceled due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

LAST MEETING
• Lia Weiner, Elana Polivy and Colleen Cross recorded points in both singles and doubles to help Rochester defeat the Beavers, 6-3, on March 30, 2008, in Babson Park.
• In addition to victories at the top three singles flights, Maria Janda recorded a 6-4, 6-4 triumph at sixth singles for the Yellowjackets, who led 2-1 after doubles.
• Liz Sheerin '10 and Lorena Becerra '10 posted straight-set wins in singles and Sheerin teamed with Jamie Burke '08 for an 8-4 victory at number three doubles to lead the Beavers.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• No. 35 Babson (3-0) wrapped up its spring break trip to southern California with a 5-4 victory over 17th-ranked Washington University (Mo.) back on March 16.
• Sophomore Olivia Soffer and first-years Matia Cristiani and Kamila Stasiowska all picked up points in both singles and doubles for the Beavers, who recorded their highest ranked win in program history against the Bears.
• Soffer, who is the third-ranked singles player in Division III, is 17-1 overall and 3-0 at number one, Cristiani is 11-1 in all matches and 2-0 at number two and Stasiowski improved to 8-4 with her second consecutive victory last week.
• Soffer and Cristiani are 10-2 in all doubles matches and 3-0 this spring at number one, while the duo of junior Juliette Moschella and first-year Elena Keitt has gone 3-0 at number two.

SCOUTING THE YELLOWJACKETS
• Rochester (3-5) has won two of its last three matches and is coming off a 7-2 victory over Ithaca on Thursday.
• Josephine Libby and Sanjana Karnam won 8-2 at number one doubles, Neha Dania and Stephanie Kim produced an 8-4 victory at number three and all four players recorded straight-set wins in singles for the Yellowjackets.
• Libby, who is ranked 25th in Division III, is 15-2 overall and 7-1 at number one singles, Dania has won three straight matches to improve to 8-6 overall and Jasmin Toor has won three times at number three and is 6-7 in all matches on the year.
• Libby and Karnam are 3-5 at number one doubles, while Dania and Kim are 2-1 at number three this spring.

STASIOWSKA EARNS NEWMAC RECOGNITION
• After recording a pair of straight-set victories in the Beavers' wins over Cal Lutheran and Wash U., Stasiowska was selected as the conference's singles player of the week on Monday.
• She defeated Luisa Garcia of Cal Lutheran 6-1, 6-2 at number two singles on March 13 and followed it up with a 6-3, 6-1 triumph over Sophia Huynh as Babson knocked off the 17th-ranked Bears on March 16.

STARTING FAST
• Excluding the 2021 season, which was shortened due to COVID, the Beavers are off to their first 3-0 start since 2016-17.
• Babson played the majority of its season in the fall for the final time that season and began the month of September with six consecutive wins before falling to eventual conference champions MIT.

SOFFER, CRISTIANI EARN NATIONAL AND REGIONAL RANKINGS
• Thanks to her success at the ITA New England Championship and ITA Cup back in the fall, Soffer was ranked second in the northeast region and third nationally when the ITA released its initial 2022-23 rankings back in November.
• Cristiani is ranked ninth in the region and 34th in Division III, and the duo, which went 7-2 in the fall, entered the spring ranked eighth in the northeast region in doubles.

NUMBER TO KNOW
• The Beavers have won 34 consecutive matches when leading after doubles, a streak that extends back to May 1, 2018.

BUSY STRETCH
• Sunday match against Rochester begins a week that will see the Green and White play five times over the next eight days.
• The Beavers host Smith and Clark to begin NEWMAC play on Monday and Tuesday before visiting 19th-ranked Brandeis on Thursday and wrapping up the week on Sunday, April 2, at home against Emerson.
