With the victory, the Beavers came out on top for the seventh consecutive game and improved to 13-1 on the season while the Monks fell to 5-6 overall.

Walsh opened the scoring for Babson on a penalty corner in the fourth minute of the game, deflecting a diagonal pass by McGrath from the top right of the circle up and over the goalie into the top of the net. That ended up as the only goal in the opening frame despite a 7-0 shot advantage for the hosts.
The Beavers blew the game open with three goals in a seven-minute span in the second quarter. McGrath upped the lead to 2-0 in the 23rd minute with a hard shot from the left side, converting a feed from Hanyon after a penalty corner. Marsh scored her team-leading 13th goal of the season less than two minutes later on a long range blast after dribbling through the Monks defense to enter the circle, and Walsh added her second of the game in similar fashion with 21 seconds remaining in the half, redirecting a diagonal by McGrath that snuck inside the left post.
Hill scored the lone goal for the Beavers in the third period, picking up a loose ball in traffic in front of the net and pounding in her third goal of the season. Walsh finished off her hat trick early in the fourth quarter, splitting the defense and firing a shot that went past the outstretched pads of Collins. Smith rounded out the scoring for the Beavers with seven minutes remaining with her first career goal on a penalty corner, ripping a shot from just inside the right side of the circle that found the back of the goal.
Babson finished with 38 total shots, including 20 on goal. The Green and White also took all 23 of the game's penalty corners.
The Beavers return to New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) play on Saturday with a visit to Springfield for a 1 p.m. matchup. St. Joe's gets back to Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) competition on Tuesday, visiting Regis for a 7:30 p.m. contest.
