Box Score MIDDLETOWN, Conn.—The Babson College men's tennis team wrapped up the fall portion of its schedule over the weekend with matches against Coast Guard, Sacred Heart, Skidmore and the host Cardinals at the Wesleyan Invitational.
The Beavers top performer in singles was first-year
Logan Back (Busan, South Korea), who went 3-1 with a pair of three-set victories. Graduate student
Jonah Wilson (Gilbert, Ariz.) and junior
Eshan Mukherjee (Basel, Switzerland) both went 2-1 in singles play, while senior
Jose Gonzalez (Mexico City, Mexico) and first-year
Kerem Ozlale (Istanbul, Turkey) each recorded a pair of victories in their four matches.
Ozlale went 3-1 over the weekend in doubles, which included pairing with Wilson for victories against both Coast Guard and Skidmore. Back and sophmore
Martin Mejia (Cali, Colombia) went 2-2 with wins against Sacred Heart and Coast Guard, while Gonzalez finished the weekend with a 2-2 record that included teaming with Ozlale for a win over Sacred Heart and a triumph against Coast Guard while playing alongside Mukherjee.
Babson will open the spring portion of its schedule in February.
