SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 10-4-0 all-time against Curry in a series that dates back to 2004.
• The Beavers have won five of the last six meetings between the teams with the lone loss coming in OT back in 2016.

LAST MEETING
• Sophomore Max Torrez scored the go-ahead goal at the 12-minute mark of the third period as Babson erupted for four unanswered goals in the third period to edge Curry, 4-2, on January 5, 2019, in Milton, Mass.
• Junior Patrick Flynn, sophomore Mike Egan and Tommy Munichiello '19 all scored for the Beavers, who got two assists from sophomore Ryan Black.
• Goals by senior Billy Vizzo and sophomore Mic Curran gave the Colonels a 2-0 lead entering the final period.

SCOUTING THE COLONELS
• Curry (1-0-0) opened its 2019-20 season with a 3-1 victory over 12th-ranked UMass Boston on Friday night.
• Curran, sophomore Nick Magill-Diaz and first-year Mark Zhukov all scored over the final nine minutes of the third period for the Colonels, who got 28 saves from senior netminder Justin Ketola.
• Curry returns 23 players, including seven of its top 10 scorers, from a team that went 16-7-3 last season.
• Vizzo (12-14-26) and junior Michael Snow (10-14-24) both scored three times on the power play, while Curran (9-15-24) tied for third on the team in assists.
• Ketola started 15 games in between the pipes going 10-4-2 with a 2.42 goals against average and a .919 save percentage.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• No. 15 Babson returns 21 players from a team that finished the 2018-19 campaign at 17-7-3.
• Junior Nick Rosa (14-16-30) produced the program's first 30-point season since 2010, Egan (12-15-27) put up the most points by a Babson rookie in more than a decade, and the duo of Black (9-16-25) and first-year Matt Wiesner (16-7-23) both scored three times on the power play.
• The Green and White returns its top seven defensemen, highlighted the senior duo of Connor Dahlman (1-7-8) and Ryan McDougall (3-9-12), who earned all-conference honors after setting a career high in points last winter.
• Sophomore Aidan Murphy is the Beavers' lone returning goaltender following the graduation of two netminders that combined to start all 81 games over the last three years.

MOVING UP THE CHARTS
• Head coach Jamie Rice '90 enters his 16th season at the helm of the program needing just three wins to pass Steve Stirling as Babson's all-time wins leader.
• Rice, who was selected as the NEHC Coach of the Year last winter, boasts a .633 winning percentage and 244 career victories.

NEHC COACHES MAKE THEIR PICKS
• The Green and White, which recorded its eighth consecutive top-three finish last winter, was picked to finish fourth when the NEHC released its preseason coaches' poll last week.

REIGNING ROOKIE OF THE YEAR
• One of 13 first-year players on last year's team, Egan became Babson's first conference rookie of the year selection since Jamas LaFreniere '06 back in 2003 last winter.

STARTING FAST
• The Beavers went 7-2-1 last season and have enjoyed tremendous success in the month of November going 43-6-2 over the last seven years.

NUMBER TO KNOW
• The Beavers went 11-0-2 last season when allowing two goals or less.
