THE SERIES
Babson and Colorado College will meet for the sixth consecutive season on Friday morning outside Philadelphia. The Beavers are 1-5 all-time against the Tigers but picked up their first win in the all-time series last year in Florida.
LAST MEETING
Junior Samuel Mishkind finished with four goals and two assists, while senior Austin Fabel added three goals and one assist to help Babson defeat Colorado College, 11-9, on March 23, 2017, in Orlando, Fla. Sophomore goalkeeper Christopher Aranalde made 15 saves for the Beavers, who never trailed in the game. Austin Davie scored four times and Andrew Harwood stopped 17 shots for the Tigers.
LAST COLORADO COLLEGE WIN
Davie scored six goals and junior Tyler Borko added four goals and three assists as the Tigers defeated Babson, 16-13, on March 19, 2016, in Lakeland, Fla. Fabel scored three goals and had three assists, while Brendan Coan '16 chipped in with three tallies for the Beavers, who outshot Colorado College 51-48.
SCOUTING THE TIGERS
Colorado College (6-1) increased its winning streak to six after defeating Kean University, 21-2, last Friday. Senior Robbie Stern recorded five goals and a pair of assists, sophomore Coby Petau netted four goals and an assist, and Junior Parker Woo won 13-of-16 face-offs to go along with a team-high seven groundballs. Stern (24-12-36) and Petau (21-6-27) have combined to score seven man-up goals, while Woo (7-0-7) has picked up 52 groundballs and won 64.3 percent of his face-offs. Harwood has posted an 8.85 goals against average and a .592 save percentage in seven games between the pipes.
SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
Babson (3-3) scored three goals over the final minute of play to rally past visiting Roger Williams, 11-10, back on March 15. Mishkind led all scorers with five goals, junior Niall Dillon recorded two goals and two assists, and first-year Jack Tague picked up five groundballs. Mishkind (20-1-21) and Dillon (7-4-11) have combined to score 10 man-up goals, while first-year Mason O'Hanlon (10-5-15) and Fabel (9-5-14) have combined for 10 assists this spring. Sophomore Luke Talman has caused seven turnovers, Tague has picked up 21 groundballs, and Aranalde has posted an 11.99 goals against average and a .435 save percentage in six starts.
MAKING AN IMPACT IN HIS RETURN
Junior Brendan Duffy, who missed the first five games due to injury, scored the game-winning goal with one second remaining to lift the Beavers to an 11-10 win over Roger Williams last Thursday.
VALUING THE BALL
The Green and White committed a season-low 12 turnover in the win over Roger Williams, while also forcing a season-best 12 turnovers. Babson was also successful on 89.5 of its clears and forced miscues on seven of the Hawks 20 clearing opportunities.
LIFE ON THE ROAD
After splitting four straight home games and having Wednesday's tilt against Sewanee cancelled, the Beavers will stay on the road for their next three contests, which includes visits to Trinity and Mass. Maritime next week.

The Beavers have outscored their opponents 19-12 in the third quarter this season.
