THE SERIES
Babson and Roger Williams will meet for the 10th time on Wednesday in a series that dates back to 1990. The Beavers are 8-1 all-time and have won two straight matchups against the Hawks.
LAST MEETING
The Beavers edged Roger Williams, 13-12, on April 17, 2016, at MacDowell Field. Senior Axel Brown finished with three goals and two assists, while classmate Connor Maloney won 12-of-17 face-offs and scooped up a season-high 12 ground balls for the Beavers, who built a five-goal third-quarter lead. Will Siefert finished with four goals and two assists to lead the Hawks.
LAST ROGER WILLIAMS WIN
Mike Hanna tied the game with 9:19 left in the fourth quarter and then set up Siefert's goal with 13 seconds remaining in the first overtime as the Hawks defeated Babson, 10-9, on March 15, 2014, in Babson Park. Hanna led all players with five goals, while Alan Williams won 16-of-22 face-offs and scooped up a game-high 10 ground balls for Roger Williams. Spencer Low '16 scored twice for the Beavers.
SCOUTING THE HAWKS
Roger Williams (2-2) fell to Haverford, 13-7, on Sunday afternoon. Junior Chris Bova, sophomore Jude Marzec, and first-year Tim Mullane each recorded two goals, while sophomore Harrison Levesque picked up 10 groundballs for the Hawks, who were limited to just 10 shots over the first three quarters. Marzec (9-5-14), Bova (7-7-14) and Mullane (9-3-12) have combined for 66.7 percent of the team's offense, Levesque has won 58 percent of his face-offs and picked up 18 ground balls, and Jack Sylvia has caused five turnovers. Junior goalkeeper Weston Nolan has recorded a 9.14 goals against average and a .570 save percentage in four starts.
SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
Babson (2-3) is looking for a win after falling to RPI, 8-4, on Saturday afternoon. Senior Austin Fabel, classmate Taylor Segreti, junior Samuel Mishkind and sophomore Owen Allen contributed one goal, while first-year Will Messner won 5-of-11 face-offs for the Beavers, who were blanked in the first half. Mishkind (15-1-16) leads the team with 17 groundballs, while Fabel (9-5-14) and Junior Niall Dillon (5-2-7) have combined to score five man-up goals. First-year Mason O'Hanlon (9-4-13) is third on the squad in scoring, while sophomore Dylan Herrmann has caused five turnovers for the Green and White. Sophomore goalkeeper Christopher Aranalde has posted a 12.44 goals against average and a .439 save percentage in five starts in net.
MAKING THE MOST OF EXTRA-MAN OPPORTUNITIES
The Beavers scored a pair of man-up goals against RPI and now rank 47th in Division III with 13 extra-man tallies this spring. In addition to Fabel and Dillon's five combined markers, Mishkind is tied for third in the country with six man-up goals.
FABEL HITS THE CENTURY MARK
With his third-quarter goal on Saturday, Fabel became the first Babson player since Scott Doten '16 to reach the 100-point mark for his career.

Wednesday's tilt against Roger Williams wraps up a four-game home stand and will be Babson's last game at MacDowell Field until it hosts Springfield on April 7. The Green and White heads to suburban Philadelphia for a pair of games next week before closing out March with road games at Trinity and Mass. Maritime.
