BABSON PARK, Mass. - The Babson men's lacrosse team opened its 2007 Pilgrim League schedule with a dominating 14-1 victory over visiting Clark University on Saturday. With the win, the Beavers improved to 3-2 on the season.

Sophomore E.J. Peterson led Babon with five goals and two assists in the win, while junior Jason Wellemeyer added three goals and six groundballs. Sophomore R.J. Moulton chipped in with two scores, senior Mike Maher posted one goal and one assist, and first-year Shane Farrell led all players with 10 groundballs.

Sophomore Max Owen started and made six saves in 37 minutes in net for the Beavers, while first-year Chris Jacobs stopped three shots in the final 23 minutes.

Jon Ponte scored the lone goal for Clark, while Tyler Campbell turned away 16 shots in net.
