Emma Hall

Emma (Davis) Hall is in her third season as the head women's tennis coach at Babson in 2025-26.

Hall led the Beavers to an outstanding season in 2024-25, as the team advanced to the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) tournament final, earned an at-large berth into the NCAA Division III team tournament and advanced to the second round, finishing with a 15-7 overall record and a No. 14 national ranking from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA). The season culminated with Olivia Soffer '25 and Matia Cristiani '26 earning All-America honors in both singles and doubles and capturing a second straight NCAA Division III national doubles championship.

Hall enjoyed much success in her first season with the Beavers in 2024, guiding the team to the NEWMAC Championship final and helping the Green and White rise as high as No. 11 in the Division III poll before finishing 13-6 overall. She took the coaching reigns mid-season and culminated with Soffer and Cristiani earning All-America honors in both singles and doubles and their first NCAA Division III national championship in doubles.

Hall came to Babson following a two-and-a-half-year stint as an assistant women's tennis coach at Yale University. She helped the Bulldogs go 14-9 during the 2021-22 campaign to match the program's highest win total in nearly a decade and coached five all-conference selections over her last two years, including 2022 Ivy League Player of the Year Chelsea Kung.

A 2019 graduate of Wake Forest University, Hall was a four-year standout for the Demon Deacons' women's tennis program. She ranks sixth in school history with 191 combined singles and doubles victories, was a two-time All-ACC selection, made two appearances in the NCAA Division I Singles Championship and one in the NCAA Doubles Championship.

Hall, who earned the ITA's National Cissie Leary Sportsmanship Award in 2019, was ranked as high as 16th as a senior after setting new career highs in both singles (30) and doubles (31) wins as a junior in 2018. In addition to her individual success, Davis helped Wake Forest earn four NCAA Tournament bids and advance to the second round in both 2018 and 2019.

Following her career at Wake Forest, Hall competed professionally on the International Tennis Federation (ITF) circuit from 2019-21, where she earned career-best rankings of 336 in doubles and 478 in singles. A native of Cohasset, Mass., she has served as a tennis instructor at the Weymouth Club since 2017.
