Selected as the NEWMAC Tournament Most Outstanding Player, was named to the All-NEWMAC first team at number one doubles, and earned NEWMAC Academic All-Conference accolades as a senior in 2014…her 104 career wins are the fourth most by any Babson player going back to 1994.
Career Highlights
2014: As a senior, went 17-10 in singles and 22-8 in doubles, setting new career highs in victories in both singles and doubles…her 22 doubles wins are also a single-season program record…went 16-0 in dual-match doubles, with all the wins coming at number one, and was 15-7 in dual-matches singles play…was 11-6 at number one singles and 4-1 at number two…also went 2-0 in three-set singles matches…opened the year with eight straight victories at number one singles…reached the semifinals of the “A” flight at the NEWITT Tournament on October 17-18…won a tiebreaker at number one doubles and rallied from a set down at number two singles to help the Green and White defeat nationally-ranked MIT, 5-4, in the NEWMAC finals on October 26…won the 100th match of her career with a 6-1, 6-2 triumph at number one singles against Augustana (S.D.) on March 17…collected an 8-2 victory at number one doubles in the team’s 5-0 NCAA Tournament First Round win over Colby-Sawyer on May 8…was victorious in both singles and doubles in the Beavers’ 5-2 loss to 16th-ranked Skidmore in an NCAA Tournament Second Round match on May 9.
2013: As a junior, went 12-11 in singles and finished 9-15 in doubles matches...posted a 12-7 mark at number one singles, including a 5-3 record in league matches...opened the fall with six consecutive singles victories, all in straight sets, including a win over Alex Meltzer of nationally-ranked Tufts on September 17...picked up a 6-0, 6-0 triumph to help the Green and White beat Mount Holyoke, 6-0, in a NEWMAC quarterfinal on October 23...beat Jen Newman of Amherst, which finished as the 2014 NCAA Division III runner-up, 7-5, 6-3, on April 4.
2012: As a sophomore, went 13-10 in singles action and 9-13 in doubles...went 12-7 at number one singles, including a 5-2 mark against NEWMAC foes...went 9-10 at number one doubles, posting a 4-3 record in conference matches...won her first five singles matches and had a fall record of 9-2 with eight victories coming in straight sets...earned her first career NEWMAC Tournament victory with a straight-set win in the Beavers' 5-2 semifinal loss to Wellesley on October 27.
2011: As a first-year, went 11-13 in both singles and doubles matches...was 9-10 at number one singles, including a 3-4 mark against NEWMAC opponents...also went 9-10 at number one doubles...made her collegiate debut with wins in both singles and doubles against Roger Williams on September 1...went 2-3 in tournament competition in both singles and doubles...reached the finals of the NEWITT 'A' Flight consolation bracket on October 15-16.
