Alan Dubrovsky is in his fourth season as the men's and women's tennis associate head coach in 2025-26.
Dubrovsky has been a key contributor to both the men's and women's squads since his arrival in 2022. He helped the men's program to a program-best national ranking (No. 11), a program-record 22 victories (22-3), the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) regular season and tournament championships in 2025 along with an NCAA Tournament berth, where the Beavers advanced to the quarterfinals for the first time in program history. He also helped the women's team to the second round of the NCAA Tournament after receiving an at-large berth, and the tandem of Olivia Soffer '25 and Matia Cristiani '26 to back-to-back NCAA Division III doubles championships in 2024 and 2025.
The Babson assistant was recognized as a member of the NEWMAC Men's Coaching Staff of the Year in 2025 as well as receiving the ITA Northeast Region and Division III Assistant Coach of the Year accolade in 2025.
Dubrovsky made an impact to both Beaver squads' success in 2023-24 as both the men and women advanced to the NEWMAC Championship finals. He helped the men's squad to climb as high as No. 18 in the ITA Division III poll and finish 14-9 overall, with eighth of the losses coming to nationally-ranked teams, and assisted the women's team to rise as high as No. 11 in the Division III poll and finish 13-6 overall. He helped with the transition to a new women's head coach that culminated in Olivia Soffer '25 and Matia Cristiani '26 earning All-America honors in both singles and doubles after capturing the NCAA Division III national doubles championship .
Dubrovsky contributed to the outstanding success for the Beavers in his first season in 2022-23. He helped the men's team to a 17-3 overall record and the women to a 16-2 mark and both squads claimed the NEWMAC regular season crown and advanced to the conference tournament title match. Both Beaver teams also earned ITA national rankings, with the women reaching as high as No.9 and the men climbing as high as No. 18. Dubrovsky coached Soffer and Cristiani who earned All-American honors after advancing to the finals of the NCAA national singles and doubles championships.
Dubrovsky joined the Beavers after spending the 2021-22 season as an assistant women's tennis coach at Amherst College. He helped the Mammoths to a 13-win campaign and a berth in the NCAA Tournament quarterfinals. Additionally, Dubrovsky coached a pair of players that qualified for the 2022 NCAA Division III Singles Championship.
A native of Westborough, Mass., Dubrovsky was a four-year standout for the Hobart College men's tennis team from 2016-20. He ranks second on the Statesmen's career list with 76 singles victories and also won 66 doubles matches while earning three All-Liberty League doubles honors to go along with a pair of all-conference singles accolades.
Dubrovsky was ranked as high as fifth nationally in singles and eighth in doubles during his career and was selected as an ITA All-American in 2019. He also received the Francis L. "Babe" Kraus '24 Award given to Hobart's Athlete of the Year in 2020.
In addition to his collegiate playing and coaching experience, Dubrovsky has been a tennis coach at the Westborough Tennis and Swim Club where he has mentored a number of high-level junior players that have gone on to play college tennis.
