Tim Peng is in his sixth season as an assistant men’s soccer coach at Babson in 2023 and his second year as a full-time assistant.

Over his first five years with the program, the Beavers have captured three NEWMAC regular season titles to go along with conference tournament championships and NCAA Tournament berths in 2019, 2021 and 2022. Babson went 12-3-4 overall and 5-0-2 in league play in 2018 and followed it up by posting a 14-6-2 mark, which included wins over eventual Division III champion Tufts and NCAA quarterfinalist Connecticut College during the regular season. After a perfect NEWMAC regular season in 2022 (8-0-0), the Green and White captured its third straight NEWMAC tournament title in 2022, advancing to the second round in 2021 and falling to Vassar on penalty kicks in the first round last fall.

Peng came to Babson after earning his degree in psychology from Trinity College in 2018. A four-year member of the men’s soccer team, he appeared in 34 career matches and made seven of his nine starts as a senior captain in 2017.

Peng, who scored his first goal in a 1-0 win over Western Connecticut State on October 8, 2017, was a three-time NESCAC Academic All-Conference selection for the Bantams.

A native of Taipei, Taiwan, Peng played his high school soccer in nearby Sharon.
