Pat Daggett

Pat Daggett was hired as an assistant men’s soccer coach at Babson College in May 2024. 

In his first season, the Beavers amassed a season record of 17-1-7 in 2024. The Green and White captured NEWMAC regular season and tournament championships going undefeated in conference while outscoring opponents 28-1, before advancing to the NCAA Tournament “Elite Eight” for the first time since 1991.
 
Babson, which finished one win shy of its single-season program record set back in 1991 and conceded its fewest goals since 1990, outscored opponents 46-10 on the year. The Beavers ranked first in Division III team goals against average (0.40), shutouts (17) and shutout percentage (0.68) and did not allow a goal in over 807 minutes to end the season. Reutemann was a part of a group that was awarded United Soccer Coaches Region II Coaching Staff of the Year while guiding two All-Americans, five All Region and eight NEWMAC Conference selections ending the year ranked #5 in the United Soccer Coaches national poll. 

Daggett comes to Babson after serving as the boys’ soccer associate head coach at West Springfield High School from 2017-23. The Terriers captured the Division 2 state championship in 2021 and advanced to the West sectional final in 2017 in addition to claiming multiple league titles during the seven-year tenure at his alma mater.

A 2017 graduate of Westfield State University with a degree in business management, Daggett was a four-year member of the men’s soccer program. He appeared in 38 games as a defender and helped the Owls claim the a MASCAC regular season title in 2015. 

Since graduating from Westfield State, Daggett has worked with some of the world’s largest brands as a Technical Program Manager in the Banking, Artificial Intelligence and Agricultural Technology Sectors. 

In addition to coaching and his work in the private sector, Daggett is currently working towards his MBA at the Isenberg School or Management at UMass Amherst.
