Michael Webber joined the Babson College men's soccer staff as the goalkeeping coach in October 2023.
A December 2022 graduate of Bowdoin College with a B.S. in Computer Science, Webber was a four-year member of the men's soccer program. During his tenure as a goalkeeper for the Polar Bears, Webber made 39 appearances, accumulating 3,569 minutes of play, 157 saves, and 16 shutouts. In the 2022 season, he led the NESCAC with a 0.37 goals against average, achieved 10 shutouts, and maintained an .887 save percentage, earning him First Team All-NESCAC honors.
In March 2023, Webber signed a professional contract with North Texas SC, an affiliate of FC Dallas, for the 2023 MLS NEXT Pro season. Shortly after his arrival in Texas, he signed a short-term loan deal with FC Dallas.
In Webber’s short time at Babson, he has coached one All-American, who led the country with a .425 GAA, was seventh in save percentage (.872), and tied for second on the Babson single-season list with 13 shutouts.
