Brian Geitner

Brian Geitner joined the Babson College men’s basketball program as an coach in October 2025. 

A 2024 graduate of Western New England, Geitner comes to Babson after wrapping up a standout career for the Golden Bears last winter. He started 94 of his 115 career games and ranks 11th on the program’s all-time scoring list with 1,362 points. 

After averaging 13.5 points in his first full season following the pandemic in 2021-22, Geitner put up 12.7 points and a career-high 2.9 assists to go along with a career-best 60 three-pointers on the way to earning all-league accolades in 2023. He contributed 9.5 points as a senior in 2024 and returned as a graduate student last winter starting all 30 games and averaging 12.9 points and 2.9 boards while helping Western New England to its best season in school history. 

The Golden Bears went 23-7 and captured the program’s first Conference of New England (CNE) Tournament title before making a historic run to the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16. Western New England defeated Hamilton in the opening round for its first NCAA Tournament victory and then knocked off Montclair State in the second round before falling to eventual national champion Trinity in the sectional semifinals. 

Geitner, who was a two-year captain for the Golden Bears, is currently pursuing his MBA.
