Babson College

Lindsey O'Coin (formerly Pardue), a 2005 graduate of Springfield College, is in her 13th season as an assistant coach with the Babson field hockey program in 2025. She was a key member of the staff the past three seasons when Babson earned consecutive New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Coaching Staff of the Year and National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Region I Coaching Staff of the Year honors.

O'Coin joined the Beavers' coaching staff in the fall of 2013 and has been a part of the most successful run in program history. Babson boasts a .791 winning percentage (193-51) and has won nine NEWMAC regular season titles and five conference tournament championships in addition to making sievenNCAA Tournament appearances. The Green and White became the first women's program in school history to advance to the national semifinals in 2016 and 2023 and reached the national quarterfinals in 2021 and 2022.

O'Coin serves as the goalkeeping coach, specializing in goalie-specific training and working with the defenders to get the team defense on the same page. She developed two different keepers with first-team all-conference and all-region accolades, including Cassidy Riley in 2021 and Bayla Furmanek from 2022-24.

A four-year standout goalkeeper for the Pride, O'Coin was a three-time All-NEWMAC and three-time NFHCA all-region selection and earned NFHCA All-America first-team honors after helping Springfield advance to the national quarterfinals as a senior in 2004. She set a single-season program record with 204 saves in 2002 and her 19 victories in 2004 ranks third in school history. 

Prior to coming to Babson, O'Coin was an assistant coach at Wellesley College from 2006-08 and led the Blue to an overall record of 12-8 as interim head coach in 2009. 

O’Coin currently works as the Director of Regional Footwear Product Creation at Asics America Corporation.
