SERIES HISTORY
•    Babson is 13-34 all-time against Wellesley in a series that dates back to 1980.
•    The Beavers have dominated the series as of late winning seven consecutive matches and recording victories in 11 of their last 12 meetings versus the Blue since 2014. 
•    The Green and White has won three times in four visits to Dorothy Towne Fieldhouse since 2015. 
•    Eight of the last 10 matches between the teams have been decided beyond three sets, which includes Babson and Wellesley going five sets four times during this stretch. 

LAST MEETING
•    Senior Allison Molendyk led all players with 15 kills, Isabella Allen '26 added 10 kills and senior Zoe Ackerman provided 43 assists and 10 digs to help the Beavers defeat Wellesley in four sets, 25-20, 23-25, 25-18, 25-21, on September 30, 2025, in Babson Park. 
•    Sophomore Liberty May added nine kills and six service aces, junior Angelina Holm finished with eight kills and four blocks, and classmate Sabina Frosk tied for match-high honors with 17 digs for Babson, which hit .230 for the match and .277 over the final two sets. 
•    Kaija Kunze-Hoeg recorded 14 kills and 17 digs and Else Kunze-Hoeg registered six kills, 33 assists, six digs, four aces and three blocks for the Blue, which led 21-20 in the fourth set. 

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
•    No. 19 Babson (9-2, 1-1 NEWMAC) had its four-match winning streak snapped in a four-set loss (25-15, 25-15, 25-27, 25-20) loss to Smith on Saturday. 
•    Sophomore Devon Burke registered a season-high 11 kills, senior Hailey Fouche added 10 kills, eight digs and four blocks, and Ackerman handed out 34 assists for the Beavers, who finished with season highs of 29 attack errors and 10 receiving errors in the setback. 
•    Fouche ranks first in the NEWMAC in kills per set (3.37) and is hitting .325, Burke is averaging 2.44 kills per set and first-year Lia Gonzalez (2.19 k/s, 2.62 digs/set) owns a .254 hitting percentage over her first 10 matches. 
•    Holm (2.00 k/s, 0.83 blocks/set) ranks eighth in the league in blocks, Ackerman (10.11 a/s, 2.00 d/s) is second in the conference and seventh in Division III in assists and leads the team with 22 services aces, and Frosk is averaging a team-best 3.34 digs per set. 

SCOUTING THE BLUE
•    Wellesley (7-3, 1-1 NEWMAC) has won seven of its last eight matches and is coming off a sweep of Wheaton (25-21, 27-25, 25-19) on Saturday. 
•    Delia Noel led a balanced attack with 12 kills, Ella Mancuso provided nine kills and three blocks, and Else Kunze-Hoeg finished with seven kills, 27 assists, four digs and three aces for the Blue, which limited the Lyons to a .097 hitting percentage in the victory.
•    Noel (2.94 k/s) has recorded 38 kills over the last three matches, Mancuso (2.29 k/s) is third on the team with 17 total blocks and Evie Hill is averaging 2.28 kills and 1.52 digs per set. 
•    Emily Goldstein (1.05) and Brianna Milliken (0.95) both rank among the top five in the conference in blocks per set, Kunze-Hoeg is averaging 8.22 assists and 2.06 digs, and Caroline Meyer is contributing a team-high 3.96 digs per set. 

BIG NUMBERS AGAINST THE BLUE
•    Molendyk has registered 31 kills and 16 digs while averaging 3.44 kills and 1.78 digs to go along with a .354 hitting percentage in two career matches versus Wellesley. 
•    Ackerman handed out 50 assists in the Beavers' 2023 and 2024 wins and is averaging 11.00 assists and 2.31 digs per set in three career outings against the Blue. 
•    Frosk has recorded 17 digs in back-to-back wins over Wellesley and is averaging 4.25 digs per set during these contests. 

BABSON TRENDS
•    Fouche has recorded at least seven kills in every matches this fall while totaling 10 or more kills in 12 of her last 14 outings going to back to November of last year.
•    Over the last five matches, Frosk has contributed 11 or more digs four times and is averaging 3.82 digs per set during this stretch. 
•    Holm and Ackerman have at least one block in six consecutive matches, while Fouche and sophomore Ailsa Munro enter Tuesday's match riding a streak of five straight contests with a block.
•    Gonzalez set a new career high with 12 digs in Saturday's loss to Smith and is averaging 3.33 digs per set over her last four outings.
•    Ackerman has handed out 30 or more assists in eight of the Beavers' first 11 matches. 

MOVING UP THE CHARTS
•    Ackerman became just the third player in program history to surpass 3,300 career assists in Saturday's loss to Smith and is sitting on 205 service aces, which is just one shy of matching Erica Yuan '04 for third on the Beavers' all-time list. 
•    Fouche ranks 16th with 613 kills and has moved into 19th place on Babson's career list with 753.5 points. 

NUMBERS TO KNOW
•    The Beavers rank 12th in Division III with a .255 hitting percentage and are second in the NEWMAC and 36th nationally in kills per set (12.94). 
•    Babson is 8-0 this season and 141-5 going back to the start of the 2018 campaign when hitting .200 or better. 
•    The Green and White is 30-4 over the last two seasons when claiming the first set but just 2-6 when it drops the opening game. 
•    Babson is 15-5 over its last 20 matches away from home going back to September 27, 2025.
