SERIES HISTORY
•    Babson is 9-11-3 all-time against Tufts in a series that dates back to 1965.
•    The last six matches between the teams have featured a total of just six goals with both the Beavers and Jumbos scoring three times going back to 2019.
•    The Green and White has finished deadlocked with Tufts in each of its last two visits to Bello Field (2022 and 2024) and is seeking its first win in Medford since 1997.
•    Last season's victory by the Jumbos snapped a run of three straight draws between the sides going back to 2022. 

LAST MEETING
•    Ben Brown scored the only goal of the match in the 42nd minute as Tufts defeated the Beavers, 1-0, on September 30, 2025, in Babson Park. 
•    Brown touched home a pass from Gianluca Fallone just 3:38 before halftime for the Jumbos, who outshot Babson 9-0 in the first and 16-4 in the match. 
•    Junior goalkeeper JB Montague made five saves, which included stopping a penalty kick by Henry Brown in the 41st minute following a foul in the box, as the Green and White attempted all six corner kicks in the game and saw sophomore Adam Stetson hit the crossbar in the 69th minute.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
•    No. 5 Babson (6-0-1) remained unbeaten with a 1-0 win over Springfield in its NEWMAC opener on Saturday morning. 
•    Senior Will Lloyd headed home a free kick by classmate Luca Tusche in the 57th minute and graduate student Will Devall made two of his three saves in the second half for the Beavers, who outshot the Pride 20-9. 
•    Sophomore Connor Hanrahan (3-0-6), senior Alexander Yablonovskiy (2-2-6) and Lloyd (2-1-5) have combined to produce four game-winning goals, senior McKenzy Pierre (2-1-5) is tied for third on the team in scoring and Drew Stephans leads the team with three assists. 
•    Devall is 5-0-1 in six starts and boasts a 0.50 goals against average and a .870 save percentage to go along with three consecutive shutouts. 

SCOUTING THE JUMBOS
•    No. 11 Tufts (4-1-2) is unbeaten over its last five matches and is coming off a 0-0 draw with WPI on Friday afternoon.
•    Nikola Antic made three of his four saves in the second half and Bijan Akhtarzandi-Das hit the crossbar in the 90th minute for the Jumbos, who outshot the Engineers 15-6 while extending their home unbeaten streak to 18 games. 
•    Henry Brown (3-0-6) and Xavier Canfin (2-2-6) are tied for the team lead in points, Ellis Denby (1-3-5) leads the squad in assists and Ben Brown has contributed a goal and an assist for three points to lead a Tufts offense that has seen nine players account for its 12 goals to start the year.
•    Nikola Antic (3-1-2) boasts a 0.51 goals against average and a .850 save percentage to go along with three shutouts in six starts this fall. 

MOVING UP THE CHARTS
•    With his goal on September 19 against Bates, Yablonovskiy now has 22 in 66 career matches tying him for 15th on the Beavers' all-time list. He also ranks 23rd program's all-time points list with 54. 
•    After scoring 10 goals in 39 games over his first two seasons at Babson, Yablonovskiy has tallied 12 times in 27 matches going back to the start of last year. 

HISTORY LESSON
•    For just the third time in program history, each of the Beavers' last eight wins, including all six this season, have come by a single goal dating back to last year's NEWMAC Tournament final. 
•    Babson also had a streak of eight straight one-goal wins spread across the 1982 and 1983 campaigns as well as the 1985 and 1986 seasons. 
•    The last time the Beavers' recorded six consecutive wins by one goal in the same season came back in 1989. 

BEAVER BITES
•    Head coach Jon Anderson '75, who is in his 41st season at Babson, ranks second among active coaches and 11th in Division history with 488 wins. He also recorded the 99th draw of his career on September 15 against Roger Williams, which ranks third all-time in NCAA history. 
•    Senior Tyler Shin made the first start of his career in the September 19 win over Bates, while Tusche made his third career start against the Bobcats and his first since the Beavers' 1-0 loss to Tufts on September 30, 2025. 
•    Sophomore Blake Miller, who played the full 90 minutes in 16 of his 22 starts as a rookie in 2024, made his season debut as part of the starting XI in Saturday's victory over Springfield. 

BABSON'S BEST STARTS
•    The Beavers have earned a result in each of their first six games for the third consecutive season and the eighth time under head coach Jon Anderson. 
•    Six of the first seven times Babson has been unbeaten through six matches it has advanced to the NCAA Tournament.

GETTING TO KNOW THE NESCAC
•    Monday's match is the second of three in the regular season against NESCAC opponents as the Beavers defeated Bates 1-0 on September 19 and will host Amherst on October 7. 
•    Going back to the start of the 2024 campaign, Babson is 3-4-4 in 11 games versus NESCAC foes. 

NUMBERS TO KNOW
•    Over the last three seasons, the Beavers are 31-1-3 when scoring the first goal of the match. 
•    Babson has conceded more than one goal just times in 54 games over the last three seasons.
