SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 23-28-1 all-time against Wellesley in a series that dates back to 1984.
• The Beavers have captured the last 11 games against the Blue and 14 of the last 18 going back to 2010.
• The Green and White have won five consecutive games in Babson Park in the series since 2015.

LAST MEETING
• Senior Grace Mullaney tallied a goal and an assist, and five different players put a goal on the scoreboard as No. 6 Babson downed Wellesley, 5-1, in the NEWMAC opener on September 20, 2025, at Wellesley's Butler Stadium.
• Laney Reed '26, Alex Michelotti '26 and Caroline DiGiovanni '26 and junior Penny Baroni also scored for the Beavers, and sophomore Anna Bonazzoli and junior Charlotte Roe registered assists. Sophomore Madison Tibbals made two saves in goal in the victory.
• Claudia Summers scored the lone goal for the Blue, with an assist from Annika Schermerhorn. Junior Hannah Simmonds and sophomore Katelyn Hurt combined for 12 saves in the Wellesley goal in the setback.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• No. 6 Babson (4-2, 0-0 NEWMAC) posted back-to-back shutout victories at No. 5 Middlebury (1-0) on Sunday and at home against the University of New England (5-0) on Tuesday at MacDowell Field.
• Baroni registered her second career hat trick and Roe tallied a goal and an assist in the win over UNE. Senior Helen DiGiovanni scored one goal and senior Emma Smith picked up an assist for the Green and White, who outshot the Nor'Easters, 35-2.
• Baroni (5-1-11) and DiGiovanni (5-0-10) each have a pair of game-winners and give the Beavers a strong 1-2 punch. Smith (0-2-2) and junior Taylor Shoflick (0-2-2) share the team lead in assists and a strong defense has led the Green and White to four shutouts in six games.
• Tibbals (1.39 GAA, 14 saves) has started 29 consecutive games dating back to last fall and is 4-2 with three shutouts this season.

SCOUTING THE BLUE
• Wellesley (1-4, 0-0 NEWMAC) is looking to get back on track after falling to Southern Maine, 1-0, on Tuesday at Butler Stadium.
• Junior goalie Maddie Miller kept the Blue in the game with five saves. Classmate Madeline Hamstra led the team with a pair of shots on goal.
• Sophomore DeeDee McCarron (2-1-5) tops the Blue in scoring, with a goal and an assist in the 2-1 triumph over Bridgewater State last Saturday. Hamstra and first-year Madison Macciocca each have one goal for the Blue, and senior Katie Golla has one assist.
•Hurt (1.87 GAA, 13 saves) is 1-2 in three starts between the pipes, while Miller (0.67 GAA, 10 saves) and Simmonds (8.00 GAA, 8 saves) each have one start in goal for the Blue.

NEWMAC DOMINANCE
• The Beavers have won 10 consecutive NEWMAC regular season titles since 2015 and have captured five straight tournament championships since 2021.
• Babson has won 77 consecutive NEWMAC regular season games over the last 11 years. The last regular season loss was a 1-0 verdict at Mount Holyoke on October 17, 2015.
• The Beavers have captured 53 straight contests against NEWMAC opponents, including the conference tournament, since the start of the 2021 campaign. The last setback was a 3-2 overtime loss to MIT in the 2019 NEWMAC title game.

NEWMAC PRESEASON POLL
• The Beavers were picked to defend their NEWMAC title when the preseason coaches' poll was released in August, receiving nine out of 10 first-place votes.
• Wellesley, which lost to MIT in the first round of last year's NEWMAC Tournament, finished sixth in this year's preseason poll.

NEWMAC WEEKLY HONORS
• DiGiovanni and Mullaney were named NEWMAC Offensive and Defensive Athletes of the Week when the conference announced its weekly honors on Monday.
• DiGiovanni scored twice and provided one game-winning goal as Babson went 2-1 while splitting a pair of games against nationally-ranked foes. Mullaney was terrific in her central defensive midfielder role as Babson recorded a pair of shutout victories in three games.

HOME SWEET HOME
• Babson is 2-1 at home this season and has won 25 of its last 26 games at MacDowell Field since a loss to Middlebury on September 15, 2024.
• The Beavers have won 41 of 43 home games over the last four seasons and 65 of their last 71 outings since the start of the 2021 season.

BEAVER BITES
• Baroni's hat trick on Tuesday was her second multi-goal game this season and the fourth of her career.
• DiGiovanni, who has goals in three of her last four outings, has 13 career scores and matched her career-high with five goals this season.
