Anna Topel (Oak Park, Ill.) turned in strong pitching performances and junior
Charlotte Raymond (Wrentham, Mass.) ended the day with three extra-base hits and four RBI as Babson College swept visiting Clark University in a New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) softball doubleheader on Saturday afternoon at Govoni Field.
The Beavers took the opener 3-1 and then defeated the Cougars 6-0 in game two to extend their winning streak to four games. Babson is now 17-18 overall and 9-7 in conference play, while Clark slips to 15-18 overall and 4-12 in the NEWMAC.

Raymond went 2-for-3 with an RBI double, junior
Ruby Madia (Princeton Junction, N.J.) was 1-for-3 with two RBI and Topel gave up just one run on five hits in a complete-game effort to run her record to 5-5 on the year. Junior
Lexi Sealey (Pleasant Hill, Calif.) and sophomore
Maddy DeLong (Cranford, N.J.) both singled and scored in the win for the Beavers.
Megan Dube (Leominster, Mass.), who carried a no-hitter into the fourth, slipped to 6-10 with the loss after allowing three runs on six hits to go along with three strikeouts in six innings for the Cougars.
Clark stranded a trio of runners in scoring position over the first four innings and the Green and White got to Dube for all three of its runs in the fourth. Raymond ripped a double to left to drive in DeLong with the game's first run and Madia followed with a two-run single back up the middle two batters later for a 3-0 lead.
Sealey gunned down a runner at the plate in the fifth and Topel kept the Cougars off the scoreboard until the top of the seventh when Emelie Spence (Margate, Fla.) brought home Avery Dillon (Bethany, Conn.) with a two-out single to center to break up the shutout bid.

Raymond went 2-for-3 with a homer, a double and three RBI, DeLong and junior
Emily Walsh (Flemington, N.J.) both went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored, and Vlacich recorded her second consecutive shutout in the circle for Babson. She struck out five and allowed just three hits to improve to 5-9 on the year.
Brooke Buzzeo (Trumbull, Conn.) went the distance in the circle for Clark, giving up six runs on nine hits while striking out five to slip to 8-7 on the season.
The Beavers opened the scoring four straight two-out hits in the bottom of the fourth. Walsh doubled to center, DeLong brought her home with a single up the middle and Raymond followed Sealey's base hit with a three-run blast to left to make it 4-0. Sophomore

Devin McCall (Virginia Beach, Va.) with an RBI single to right and first-year
Alexa Young () scored on Walsh's RBI knock through the right side as the Green and White extended its advantage to 6-0 with one out in the fourth.
Vlacich 13 of 14 batters, issuing only a leadoff walk to Merry Griffin (Barrington, R.I.) to start the fourth, before Dillon recorded the Cougars only hit over the final five innings with a single to right with two outs in the sixth.
Both teams are set to play a single game on Tuesday at 4 p.m. as Babson hosts Endicott, while Clark takes on Gordon.

• The Beavers are 48-20 all-time against Clark and have won 30 of the last 31 games between the teams since 2012.
• Babson is now 10-2 this spring when allowing two runs or fewer.
