MARLBOROUGH, Mass.— Following a career-high performance on Saturday, Babson College sophomore Timmy Mulvey (Reading, Mass.) was named the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Men's Basketball Offensive Athlete of the Week on Monday afternoon.

A 5'11" guard, Mulvey poured in a career-high 32 points to go along with three assists and just one turnover in 39 minutes of action to help Babson defeat Clark, 73-62, in its only game of the week on Saturday. The sophomore guard knocked down six three-pointers and scored 17 first-half points for the Beavers, who never trailed in the victory.

A starter in all 19 games this season, Mulvey is 10th in the NEWMAC with 15.0 points per game as well as averaging 2.7 assists and 2.2 rebounds for the Beavers. He is second in the league with 3.3 three-pointers per game and ranks third with a 43.4 percent from beyond the arc and seventh in shooting percentage (45.5) on all field goals.

Babson (13-6, 7-3 NEWMAC) hosts Coast Guard in a NEWMAC contest on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Staake Gymnasium.
