SERIES HISTORY
vs. UMass Dartmouth

• Babson and UMass Dartmouth will meet for the 20th time and the first time since 2016 on Friday evening in a series that dates back to the 1979-80 season.
• The Beavers are 10-6-3 all-time against UMD and are unbeaten over their last five games (4-0-1).
• The Green and White have won two straight and three of the last five against the Corsairs at Hetland Arena, including a 3-1 victory in 2007 that matched No. 9 Babson against No. 13 UMD.
vs. UMass Boston
• Babson is 53-22-6 all-time against UMass Boston in a series that dates back to the 1978-79 season.
• The Beavers have won five in a row and six of the last seven against the Beacons, with three of the wins by at least three goals.
• The Green and White have won the last three and are 9-6-1 on the road vs. UMB going back to 2013.

LAST MEETING
vs. UMass Dartmouth

• Dan Casey '17 scored twice and Charlie Ackerman '18 scored the go-ahead goal at 18:42 of the third period as No. 10/No. 11 Babson edged visiting UMass Dartmouth, 5-4, on November 22, 2016 at the Babson Skating Center.
• Ackerman, Tim Searles '17 and Tommy Munichiello '19 all had a goal and an assist for the Beavers. Casey, who finished the night with three points, and Ryan Gouveia '18, Paul Wagner '18, Rob Devaney '18 and Matt McMorrow '18 all contributed one assist apiece. Bryan Botcher '19 made 21 saves in goal for the Beavers, who captured their sixth consecutive victory.
• Casey Shea '18 had a goal and an assist for UMD, while Matt Baldino '17, Brandon Berkley '18 and Jeff Kirkwood '20 all scored once. Goaltender Drew Michals '18 turned away 39 shots in the loss.
vs. UMass Boston
• Babson rallied for three consecutive third-period goals and senior Nate Mueller finished with 30 saves in a 4-2 come-from-behind victory over UMass Boston to complete a two-game sweep on February 8, 2025, inside the Edward T. Barry Ice Rink.
Wyatt George '25 tallied a goal and an assist for the Beavers and Michael Holland '25 and seniors Will Holland and Ryan Murphy scored once each in the victory. Brendan Murphy '25, seniors Egan Schmitt, Cam Joslin and Danny Cavanagh and junior Sean Senier chipped in with one helper apiece.
• Kolye Bankauskas '25 and Michael Krupinski '25 finished with a goal and an assist each for the Beacons, and junior Chris Repmann and sophomore Michael Lynch registered assists. Tyler Bost '25 turned away 39 shots in the loss.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• No. 10 Babson (10-2-2, 5-1-1 LEC) had a five-game winning streak snapped on Saturday with a 2-1 home loss to Southern Maine, which now has the lead in the LEC standings.
• Holland scored for the Beavers in the setback with assists from sophomore Evan Brown and senior Charlie Andriole. Mueller made 27 saves in the Babson goal but suffered his first loss of the season.
• Junior Jimmy Fallon (9-10-19) is second in the Little East in points, tied for third in goals and sixth in assists. Brown (4-14-18) tops the league in assists and is tied for third in points, and Andriole (7-6-13) is tied for seventh in the LEC in goals, most among defensemen. Holland (+19) and Andriole (+18) rank 1-2 in the conference in plus/minus and Brown (+13) is tied for fourth.
• Mueller (1.76 GAA, .930 sv. pct.) is 8-1-2 in 11 starts in goal and tops the LEC in goals against average and ranks third in save percentage. Junior Mason Rosado (2.67 GAA, .881 sv. pct.) is 2-1 in three starts with one shutout.

SCOUTING THE CORSAIRS
• UMass Dartmouth (8-5-0, 3-3-0 LEC) is riding a five-game winning streak after posting conference road victories last weekend at Keene State (6-3) and Western Connecticut (3-2).
• First-year Kailen Chen scored two goals for the Corsairs against WestConn, including the game-winner at 10:46 of the third period. Classmate Chris Cardillo added a goal and an assist, senior Tyler Stewart provided a pair of assists, and senior Marshall McKallip matched his career high with 45 saves in the win.
• Stewart (1-11-18) is in the top 10 in the LEC in all three offensive categories, including tied for third in points. Junior Alex Walker (7-5-12, 3 PPG) has three goals in his last three games and five goals in his last five, while Chen (5-8-13) and sophomore Hunter Scanlon (4-8-12) are tied for second on the team in assists.
• Senior Graham Burke (3-1, 3.45 GAA, .908 sv. pct.) and McKallip (3-4, 3.24 GAA, .922 sv. pct.) each have three wins in the Corsair goal, and sophomore Samuel Boos (2.50 GAA, .924 sv. pct.) is 2-0 in two starts.

SCOUTING THE BEACONS
• UMass Boston (9-4-0, 4-2-0 LEC), which is receiving votes in this week's USCHO.com Division III poll, brings a seven-game winning streak into Friday's game against Southern Maine after sweeping WestConn (4-0) and Keene State (4-1) last weekend.
• Senior Jazz Krivtsov tallied a goal and an assist to lead the Beacons against KSC. Classmate Steven Spetz and first-year Jake Lindstrom helped UMB to a 2-0 lead just two minutes into the game, and junior Zander Lizotte made it 3-0 with a PPG three minutes later. Sophomore Connor McDonough finished with 34 saves in the victory.
• Senior Jude Kurtas (7-8-15) has points in five straight games and six out of nine to rank tied for third in the LEC in scoring. Repmann (9-3-12) is tied for third in the league in goals and Krivtsov (4-9-13) shares the team lead in assists with junior Matthew Sullivan (0-9-9). Junior Chris Merryman (2-4-6) is third in the LEC with a +16 plus/minus rating.
• First-year Alex Koenig (5-1, 1.83 GAA, .936 sv. pct.) and McDonough (4-3, 2.12 GAA, .939 sv. pct.) rank 2-3 in the LEC in goals against average and are the top two in save percentage.

NCAA RANKINGS
• Babson is ranked 14th in Division III in scoring defense (2.14 goals allowed per game) and 18th in Division III in scoring offense (3.71 goals per game).
• The Beavers are 25th in Division III with a 24.4 power play percentage and 26th in penalty kill percentage at 84.8.
• Fallon ranks 20th in Division III in points per game (1.36) and 23rd in goals per game (0.64) while Brown is seventh in assists per game (1.00).
• Mueller is 11th in Division III with a 1.76 goals against average and ninth in goalie winning percentage (.818).

BETWEEN THE PIPES
• Mueller has started six straight games in goal for the Beavers, posting a 4-1-1 mark with a 1.58 GAA and a .939 save percentage.
• In his 11 starts this season, Mueller has allowed two goals or fewer nine times and no more than three goals in any game.
• The senior netminder has been named LEC Goaltender of the Week three times this season (Nov. 3, Dec. 1, Jan. 5).

BABSON VS. THE BEACONS
• Murphy (6 gms, 0-5-5) is the active career scoring leader for Babson against UMass Boston, followed by Schmitt (6 gms, 2-2-4) and senior Nolan Woudenberg (5 gms, 0-3-3).
• Both Mueller and Rosado earned one victory against the Beacons last year while allowing just one goal; Mueller made 38 saves in a 6-1 triumph and Rosado made 30 stops in a 2-1 victory.

BEAVER BITES
• Brown has a current four-game point streak after starting the season with a seven-game streak.
• Andriole has a four-game point streak and has six goals and two assists in his last six games.
• Fallon has at least one point in 10 of 14 games this season.
• Babson will wear green jerseys this weekend after sporting white jerseys in its last 10 outings, including eight home games and both contests in the Oswego Holiday Classic.
