Seven from Softball Earn Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete Recognition

LOUISVILLE, Ky.—Seven members of the Babson College softball program were recognized for their hard work in the classroom when the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) announced its 2025 Easton All-America Scholar-Athletes earlier this week.

Recent graduate Moira O'Reilly '24 M'25 was named to the team for the fourth consecutive season, while rising seniors Andi Gabler (Lighthouse Point, Fla.) and Sophia Pak (New Rochelle, N.Y.) both garnered Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors for the third year in a row. Rising junior Mia Vitotozzi (North Reading, Mass.) was recognized for the second straight season, and Sara Moore '25, Cameron Whiteford M'25 and rising sophomore Maddy DeLong (Cranford, N.J.) earned a spot on the squad for the first time in their respective careers.

The Beavers' seven honorees were among 2,565 Division III student-athletes that finished the 2024-25 academic year with at least a 3.50 grade-point average.

O'Reilly capped her career with a fourth consecutive New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Pitcher of the Year honor while going 9-6 with a 1.76 ERA and 124 strikeouts in 111.1 innings pitched this past spring. Her classmate Whiteford was also terrific in the circle going 13-6 with a 1.83 ERA and 126 strikeouts in 126.1 innings of work.

Pak tied Babson's single-season record with 63 hits and put together the best season of her career batting .481 with five extra-base hits, 24 RBI and 22 runs scored to go along with a .531 on-base percentage. Moore hit .425 with five extra-base hits, 18 RBI, 34 runs scored while matching her own single-season record with 32 stolen bases in addition to finishing one hit shy of her single-season record set back in 2023.

DeLong started all 41 games in the infield and batted .218 with three doubles, a home run, 13 RBI and 15 runs scored. Gabler saw action in two contests and recorded a walk and a run scored in two plate appearances, while Vittozzi did not see any game action due to injury.

Babson concluded the 2025 campaign at 26-15 after advancing to the NEWMAC Tournament final for the second consecutive season.
