BABSON PARK, Mass.—Coming off back-to-back appearances in the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) tournament championship game, Babson College second-year head softball coach
Tori Roche officially announced her program's 2026 schedule on Monday.
The Beavers, who have posted 11 consecutive winning seasons, have a 40-game regular season slate on tap for 2026, including 20 NEWMAC encounters and nine games vs. teams that competed in the 2025 NCAA Tournament. The Green and White will take an early-season trip to Florida for a dozen games in eight days before playing 28 contests back in New England, including 14 home games at Alumni Field.
Babson will open the campaign in Clermont, Florida, at The Spring Games, beginning with contests vs. Dominican (Illinois) and Wesleyan on March 14 followed by meetings against SUNY Geneseo and 2025 NCAA Tournament team Wisconsin-Whitewater on March 15. After an off-day, the Green and White will take on Plymouth State and NCAA Tournament team Wisconsin-Stevens Point on March 17 and fellow NCAA Tournament team Ramapo and the University of New England on March 18. The week wraps up with encounters against Coe and NCAA Tourney team Wisconsin-Oshkosh on March 20 and Colby and George Fox on March 21.
The Beavers return to New England for a non-conference twin bill at Bates on March 25 and the NEWMAC opener at Smith on March 28. Babson will make its home debut with back-to-back doubleheaders at Alumni Field against Framingham State on March 31 and defending NEWMAC champion MIT on April 4.
After a non-conference doubleheader at defending Little East Conference champion and NCAA qualifier UMass Boston on April 7, Babson plays a pair of NEWMAC twinbills against WPI at home on April 10 and at Emerson on April 11. A single home game vs. NCAA Tournament team Tufts on April 14 is followed by NEWMAC doubleheaders at Wheaton on April 17 and home vs. Coast Guard on April 18.
The Green and White will take on Endicott for one home game on April 21 before visiting NEWMAC foe Salve Regina on April 24 and hosting conference opponent Clark on April 25. The final week of the regular season includes NEWMAC doubleheaders against Wellesley at Alumni Field on May 1 and at Springfield on May 2.
The seven-team conference tournament begins with a play-in game on May 4 and will continue with double-elimination games at the higher seeds from May 6-8 and the championship round from May 9-10. The NEWMAC champion receives an automatic berth in the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament.
