BRUNSWICK, Maine—Senior Clare Connolly (Hanover, Mass.) scored four times and tallied the go-ahead goal with 5:49 remaining to help No. 14 IWLCA/No. 16 USA Lacrosse Babson College rally to defeat Bowdoin College, 12-10, in non-conference women's lacrosse action on Sunday afternoon at Ryan Field.

With its seventh consecutive win, Babson improves to 10-2 on the year. Bowdoin has how dropped four of its last six games to slip to 6-7 overall.

Connolly also led all players with seven draw controls, graduate student Ellie Hilsabeck (Hingham, Mass.) had two goals and two assists, and senior Jessica Evans (Southbury, Conn.) contributed three goals, all in the second half, to go along with three draw controls and two caused turnovers to pace the Beavers. Graduate student Eileen Manning (Needham, Mass.) finished with a team-high three caused turnovers and senior Kathleen Murphy (Scarborough, Maine) made seven saves in the victory.

Sophomore Grace Harvey (North Ferrisburgh, Vt.) finished with two goals, six draw controls and four ground balls, while senior Lauren Burke (Wellesley, Mass.), classmate Georgia Gallagher (Greenwich, Conn.) and sophomore Molly Reed (New Canaan, Conn.) each scored twice for the Polar Bears. First-year Katie Athanasoulas (Concord, Mass.) led all players with four caused turnovers and fellow rookie Hannah Rubin (Manhasset, N.Y.) and senior Sophie Brett (Rye, N.Y.) combined for five saves in the loss.

Trailing 7-3 late in the second quarter, the Green and White got goals from Hilsabeck and Connolly to pull within two at halftime and tallies from Evans and Hilsabeck 70 seconds apart to tie the game with 8:31 to go in the third. Harvey put Bowdoin back in front just 28 seconds later but senior Nora Lema (Duxbury, Mass.) scored at the 5:28 mark and Evans followed with her second goal of the contest with 13:10 left in the fourth to give the Beavers their first lead since the opening minutes of the contest.

Junior Miya Imaeda (Guilford, Conn.) scored for Bowdoin to make it 9-9 with 10:41 to play, but Babson forced a pair of turnovers and got a save from Murphy over the Polar Bears' next three possessions before Connolly converted a free-position chance to put the Beavers ahead for good with 5:49 left. The hosts were unable to take advantage of a free-position at the 4:15 mark and Evans and first-year Charlie Newman (Woodbury, Conn.) scored 28 seconds apart to give the Green and White its largest lead of the game at 12-9 with 2:41 to go.

Connolly put away a feed from senior Amelia Novitch (Dover, Mass.) to give Babson a 1-0 lead less than two minutes into the contest before Bowdoin responded with five of the next six tallies. Senior Solana Fahey (North Andover, Mass.) stopped a four-goal run at 4:02 of the first but Burke and Gallagher scored 21 seconds apart to give the hosts their largest lead of the game at 6-2 with 9:32 to go in the second quarter.

The Beavers finished with a 15-11 edge in draw controls, while the Polar Bears held the advantage in both shots (27-22) and ground balls (16-11), but converted just 3-of-10 free-position chances in the loss.
