After graduate student Topher Bower (Chicago, Ill.) and Naglieri traded goals in the first five minutes, Babson ran off three straight scores by Stillwell, Mondello and senior Emmett Martin (Milton, Mass.) in a two-minute span to pull ahead 4-1. Sumwait struck for his first goal of the game to pulled Salve to within two with three minutes to go in the period, but Sisk closed the first quarter with a goal and opened the second with another, followed by Rooney's first of the game as the Babson lead grew to 7-2 with 11 minutes to go in the second.
