MARSHFIELD, Mass.—Following a key victory over longtime rival Norwich University, Babson College junior Nate Mueller (Rogers, Minn.) was named the New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) Goalie of the Week on Monday afternoon.

Mueller finished with 29 saves in his only start of the weekend to help Babson defeat Norwich, 2-1, on Friday night. He turned away the final 24 shots he faced after allowing a first-period goal, which included nine saves in the third period as the Beavers recorded their seventh one-goal victory of the season.

A three-year veteran and Babson's starter in nine games this season, Mueller has a 6-3 record and is tied for fourth in the NEHC with a 2.31 goals against average and ranks seventh with a .923 save percentage.

The Beavers (11-9-1, 9-7-0 NEHC) are back in action with NEHC games at UMass Boston on Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 4 p.m.
