Babson missed its final three field goal attempts and committed a pair of turnovers while the hosts went 7-of-8 at the charity stripe over the final 1:46 to pull away.

The Beavers trailed by six late in the first quarter but answered with a 14-5 run to take a 28-25 lead on a layup by Perreault with 6:50 to go in the second period. CMS went back in front 38-36 at the half and Babson matched its largest advantage of the game at 44-41 on a layup by Mendoza before Resendiz and Wang combined for nine points to help the hosts pull even at 54-all with 36 seconds to go in the third.
