SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 19-3 all-time against Lasell in a series that dates back to 1998.
• The Beavers have won 12 in a row versus the Lasers although the teams have played nine games decided by five points or less in the all-time series.
• The Green and White has won six in a row on the road against Lasell since 2011 but Tuesday's matchup marks just its second trip to Newton since 2019.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (3-0) has won its first three games by a total of 12 points after defeating No. 4 Tufts, 83-79, last Friday.

SCOUTING THE LASERS
• Lasell (2-1) has won its last two games after defeating Wentworth, 98-90, on Saturday.
• Esmer Madesko led five players in double figures with 31 points to go along with eight assists, Cameron Nell scored 15 points and Andy Madesko contributed 14 points, 10 rebounds and six assists for the Lasers, who shot 48.5 percent and led by as many as 17 midway through the second half.
• Esmer Madesko (23.0 pts, 5.0 reb, 4.0 ast, 2.3 stl) has scored at least 30 points twice in three starts, Che Hanks is averaging 12.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists, and Quinton Partee Jr. (10.7 pts, 6.7 reb) is shooting 73.7 percent from the field.
• Lasell is averaging 78.7 points over its first three outings while grabbing 14.0 offensive rebounds per game.
BRENNAN JOINS THE 500-WIN CLUB
• With Friday night's victory over Tufts, Brennan became the 42nd coach in Division III history to reach the 500-win milestone.
• The 2017 NABC Coach of the Year, Brennan ranks ninth among active Division III coaches in victories, and joins Virginia Wesleyan's Dave Macedo and Trinity's James Cosgrove as the only coaches on the list with a national championship.
• Brennan boasts a 240-138 mark versus conference foes to go along with 43 NCAA and NEWMAC Tournament victories.
MULVEY EARNS NEWMAC RECOGNITION
• After averaging 16.5 points and 3.5 assists while shooting 68.8 percent from the floor in wins over Albertus Magnus and Tufts, Mulvey was selected as the NEWMAC Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.
• The reigning conference rookie of the year, Mulvey shot 69.2 percent (9-of-13) from beyond the arc and matched his season high with five assists in last Friday's victory over the fourth-ranked Jumbos.
BACKCOURT BREAKOUT
• The trio of Begin II, Mulvey and Ferdinando combined for 66 points marking the first time that three Babson players scored at least 20 points in the same game going back to at least the 2007-08 campaign.
• The closest the Beavers came to having three players with at least 20 points came all the way back in the 2008-09 season opener against Tufts when Zach Etten '09 scored 25 points, Shelton Ladson '11 finished with 21 and Lambros Papalambros put up 19 in his collegiate debut.
TRENDS TO WATCH
• Ferdinando and Mulvey both made a career-high six three-pointers against Tufts and rank among the top 25 in Division III in three-pointers per game entering Tuesday's trip to Lasell.
• Lauder has grabbed at least 10 rebounds in each of the first three games and is averaging team highs of 11.0 boards and 4.0 assists on the year.

NeJohn Fortes played a season-high 12 minutes in last Friday's win over Tufts producing four points, four rebounds and one steal.
• Begin II went 8-of-11 at the free throw line against Tufts and is shooting 80.9 percent (17-of-21) at the charity stripe this season.
NUMBERS TO KNOW
• The Beavers are off to their first 3-0 start since the 2021-22 campaign, when they finished 19-8 and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
• Babson owns a 13.0 rebounding margin through its first three games, which includes pulling down 42 offensive boards.
• The Green and White is now 10-1 since the start of last season when it scores 80 or more points.
• Babson has won its last 11 games when it makes at least 10 three-pointers.
