A GOOD RUN
• Wednesday's loss at Emerson was the first for the Beavers against a conference foe in almost exactly four years dating back to a 1-0 setback to MIT on October 23, 2021, at Harwtell-Rogers Field.
• Babson went 30-0-6 during its 36-game unbeaten streak, which featured a 23-0-5 mark in regular season matches and a whopping 27 shutouts.
• In addition to its overall NEWMAC unbeaten streak, the Beavers' loss to Emerson was their first on the road since October 28, 2017, snapping a 27-match unbeaten run.
PLAYOFF PUSH
• With three match days remaining in the regular season, Babson is currently third in the league standings with 10 points behind first-place Wheaton (15 points) and second-place Coast Guard (11 points).
• WPI and Emerson, who will meet next Wednesday, are tied for fourth place with seven points, and a win on Saturday by the Engineers would give them the tiebreaker over the Beavers.
• The Green and White, which faces Wheaton and Coast Guard to end the regular season next week, can still earn the top seed in November's conference tournament but must win out and hope the unbeaten Lyons drop points in one of their other matches.
HOME FIELD HEROES
• Babson enters Saturday's match having won 19 consecutive NEWMAC contests at Hartwell-Rogers Field since its loss to MIT back in 2021.
• The Beavers have kept 11 consecutive clean sheets at home versus league foes and have not conceded a goal in 1,066 minutes and 26 seconds going back to the first of their 3-1 victory over WPI on September 16, 2023.
