Babson has won two of its last three games to improve to 11-8-1 overall and 9-6 in conference play. Norwich has dropped its last three contests to slip to 8-7-3 overall and 7-4-2 in the NEHC.

Ian Driscoll (Middleton, Mass.) scored for the Green and White and graduate student
Kyle Gierman (Shelby Township, Mich.), sophomore
Joseph Kramer (Bridgewater, Mass.), first-year
Raphael Marcoux (Quebec City, Que.) and junior
Tommy Rooney (Milton, Mass.) recorded assists in the victory.
Senior Holden Doggett (Oakville, Ont.) scored the lone goal for the Cadets with assists from classmate Clark Kerner (Kansas City, Kan.) and sophomore Owen Sclisizzi (Milton, Ont.). Sophomore Sami Molu (Toronto, Ont.) finished with 25 saves in the tough-luck loss for the visitors.
Norwich opened the scoring at 10:46 of the first period when Doggett took a centering pass from Kerner on a 2-on-1 and beat Mueller with a one-timer the snuck inside the left post for his first goal of the season. Babson was fortunate to stay out of a two-goal hole when first-year Kyle Kudrna (Bartlett, Ill.) hit the post from the slot following a turnover at the 14:12 mark, and then pulled even on its first power play of the game just 3:21 into the second.
Molu made three saves over the first 70 seconds of the man advantage but Gierman's blast from the left point went off a defender in front of the net and the puck popped out to Driscoll, who buried the rebound for his sixth goal to make it 1-1. The Beavers killed off their only penalty of the game midway through the second before breaking the deadlock at 13:19 of the third on Joslin's second goal of the year.
Rooney found Marcoux at the left point after regaining a loose puck in the offensive zone and Joslin redirected his blast and watched it trickle past the right pad of Molu for a 2-1 advantage. The Babson defense was superb maintaining the lead over the final six minutes blocking six shots in addition to getting a pair of saves from Mueller to close out the win.
The Cadets finished with a 30-27 advantage in shots on goal. Each team was whistled for just one penalty in the game, and Babson converted its power play attempt and killed the lone Norwich opportunity.
The two teams will meet again on Saturday in a rematch at 4 p.m. at the Babson Skating Center.
