SCOUTING THE FIGHTING SCOTS
• Gordon (2-1-1) is coming off a 3-2 victory over Salve Regina at home on Wednesday evening.
• Sophomore Eowyn Lapp led the Fighting Scots with a goal and an assist, and senior Kristi DiRico and junior Ada Forbes contributed one goal each. Junior Emily Bengston made three saves in goal for the Scots, who finished with a 12-8 advantage in shots.
• Lapp (3-1-7) has the team scoring lead through four games, with support from Forbes (2-2-6) and DiRico (1-2-4). Bengtson (1.75 GAA) has gone the distance in goal in all five games, making 16 saves.
• Gordon finished the 2023 campaign at 10-5-4 overall after falling to Western New England in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (now Conference of New England) semifinals, 4-1.
CONFERENCE CROSSOVER
• Saturday's game in the first of two straight Babson games against teams from the CNE, with a visit to Endicott on Tuesday to follow.
• The matchup for Gordon is the third straight and fourth in five games against teams from the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC), following a loss to MIT (3-0) in the season opener and a draw at Emerson (1-1) and win over Salve Regina (3-2) in the last two.
COMFORTS OF HOME
• The Green and White dropped their home opener after finishing 6-5-1 on Hartwell-Rogers Field last season.
• Babson is 21-10-4 at home going back to the start of the 2021 season.

• Ferrantino enters the weekend tied for 14th in school history with 18 goals and 17th on the program's career list with 44 points.
• Over her last 31 games dating back to the end of the 2022 campaign, Ferrantino has produced 14 goals and five assists for 33 points.

• Babson's 3-2 loss to Johnson & Wales was just the third setback (31-3-1) since the start of the 2021 season when scoring at least two goals.
