BABSON PARK, Mass.— Seven different players scored multiple goals and three players tallied their first goal of the season as No. 23 Babson College rolled past Mount Holyoke College, 22-1, in New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) women's lacrosse action Wednesday evening at MacDowell Field.
With the victory, Babson posted its fifth straight win to move to 6-1 on the season and 3-0 in conference play. Mount Holyoke dropped its third consecutive game and fell to 1-8 overall and 0-2 in the NEWMAC.

Anna Costello (Milton, Mass.) caused four turnovers and grabbed two ground balls, and senior
Eileen Manning (Needham, Mass.) scooped up four ground balls in the win. First-year goalie
Morgan McGahan (Ho-Ho-Kus, N.J.) came off the bench and made three second-half saves for the Green and White.
Junior Madison Millyan (Winchester, Mass.) scored the lone goal for the visitors, with an assist from senior Hannah Bisson (Chester, Conn.). Sophomore Amelia Knaysi (Grand Junction, Colo.) grabbed four draw controls, and first-year Syd Baker (Needham, Mass.) made eight saves in the Lyons goal.
The Beavers put the game away in the first quarter with 10 unanswered goals from eight different players, including three by Ives and a goal and an assist from both Blake and Bushey. The Green and White tacked on four more in the second stanza, one each from Blake, Darveau, Connolly and Bushey and a pair of assists by junior
Michaela Downer (North Andover, Mass.), to take a 14-0 lead into the break.
The hosts extended the lead to 17-0 on goals by Fierro, Fahey and junior
Kylie McCarthy (Danvers, Mass.) in the third quarter before Millyan put the Lyons on the board with 8:15 to go in the frame. Junior
Nora Lema (Duxbury, Mass.) got into the scoring act before the end of the quarter and Babson poured on four more goals in the finale 15 minutes.
Babson had a 38-4 advantage in shots and won 20 of the 26 draw controls. The Beavers were successful on all nine clear attempts while holding the visitors to just 4-of-14.
Both teams are back in action with conference games on Saturday, Mount Holyoke hosting Wheaton at 1 p.m. and Babson traveling to Emerson for a 7:00 contest.

• Babson has won nine in a row against Mount Holyoke and owns a 25-13 record all-time against the Lyons in a series that dates back to 1989.
• Babson has won 12 straight games against NEWMAC foes dating back to last season, and is 43-4 in regular season games against conference opponents since the start of 2016.
