SERIES HISTORY
•    Babson is 13-25 all-time against Brandeis in a series that dates back to 1975.
•    The Beavers have won seven consecutive matches in the series going back to 2014. 
•    The Green and White has won its last four matches against the Judges in Waltham, which includes rallying from a two-set deficit back in 2016. 

LAST MEETING
•    Sophomore Isabella Allen led all players with a career-high 17 kills and Izzy Seebold M'23 dished out 40 assists to help Babson defeat Brandeis in four sets (25-18, 12-25, 25-17, 25-18) on October 8, 2022, in Beverly, Mass. 
•    Junior Lauren Gips and Martina Jankovic Chin '23 each added 10 kills and combined to hit at a .405 clip, junior Tatum Stelter led all players with 23 digs and senior Olivia Leinenweber chipped in with 15 kills for the Beavers. 
•    Lara Vertovsek had 12 kills and 10 digs and Ines Grom-Mansenecal dished out 31 assists and totaled nine digs for the Judges, who hit just .065 over the final two sets. 

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
•    Babson (4-1) bounced back from its first loss of the year to No. 11 NYU with a 3-0 victory over Stockton on Saturday afternoon in New York. 
•    Senior Erin Gray had eight kills, sophomore Lilly Steiner added seven kills and four blocks and sophomore Sophia Shaw and first-year Zoe Ackerman served up four aces apiece for the Beavers, who limited the Ospreys to a .022 hitting percentage. 
•    Gray is averaging 3.07 kills per set, Gips (3.00 k/s, 0.92 b/s) hit .647 in the team's first two matches and senior Lulu McShane is contributing 3.00 kills per set to go along with a .277 hitting percentage. 
•    Ackerman and senior Caroline Applewhite are combining for 8.64 assists per set, while sophomore Roz Cabuena is averaging a team-high 3.79 digs per set. 

SCOUTING THE JUDGES
•    Brandeis (4-1) had its four-match winning streak halted in a 3-1 loss to Williams in the second of two matches on Saturday. 
•    Verstovsek finished with 14 kills, 10 digs and three blocks, while Anna Ertischek added 13 kills for the Judges, who made 16 service errors in the loss. 
•    Verstovsek is averaging 3.45 kills and 2.55 digs per set, Ertischek (3.40 k/s) is hitting a team-best .326 and Arianna Jackson is contributing 1.65 kills per set to go along with a team-high 10 blocks. 
•    Grom-Mansenecal is handing out 9.61 assists and averaging 2.44 digs per set, while Olivia Nirode leads the squad in both total digs (73) and digs per set (3.65). 

AT YOUR SERVICE
•    Babson enters the weekend ranked ninth in Division III averaging 3.73 service aces per set. 
•    The Beavers have recorded at least 11 aces in four of their first five matches, which includes a season-high 15 in last Friday's three-set sweep of Amherst. 
•    Ackerman and Cabuena lead the team with 10 aces apiece, while sophomore Sophia Shaw served up four against Stockton to push her total for the season to nine. 

BEAVER BITES
•    McShane has recorded at least eight kills in four of the Beavers first five matches, while Gray has totaled six or more kills in every outing thus far.
•    Cabuena has recorded at least 11 digs in three straight contests and averaged 4.78 digs per set at the NYU Invitational. 
•    Steiner averaged 0.89 blocks per set over the weekend and finished with seven kills against both NYU and Stockton. 

NUMBERS TO KNOW
•    The Beavers are 40-4 in the month of September dating back to 2019.
•    Babson is 4-0 this fall and has won 23 consecutive matches when claiming the opening set. 
•    The Green and White has limited its first five opponents to a .116 hitting percentage. 
•    The Beavers are putting away 12.93 kills per set and have registered more kills and their foes in seven consecutive matches going back to last November.
