Babson, which has tied its last two games and is unbeaten in 10 straight matches, closes the regular season at 10-3-6 overall and 5-0-3 in league play. The Beavers will be the second seed in the upcoming NEWMAC Tournament. Coast Guard is now 3-5-8 overall and 2-2-4 in league play and will be the fifth seed in the league playoffs.

First-year Naveen Jayareem (Tampa, Fla.) had a goal and senior Charles Fish (Little Silver, N.J.) recorded an assist for the Bears, who got four saves from senior goalkeeper Wolfgang Pfleghar (Fairfield, Conn.).
Coast Guard jumped on top less than nine minutes into the contest when Jayareem flicked Fish's service through traffic from the edge of the six-yard box for his first career goal. The Green and White outshot the Bears 6-3 in the opening half and turned up the pressure looking for an equalizer after the break.
Senior
Joseph Cardarapoli (Longmeadow, Mass.) forced a diving save by Pfleghar at the near post following a corner kick in the 57th minute and sophomore
Robin Pestka (Highland Park, N.J.) forced Pfelghar to extend to catch his shot from 25 yards out in the 59th minute before Gazo leveled the score with 9:39 to play. Junior
Lyndon Way (Atlanta, Ga.) dispossessed a Coast Guard attacker inside the box and moments later Gazo ran down a long ball by Araujo and flicked over Pfleghar for his third marker of the year.
Babson nearly took the lead less than a minute later as Gazo broke free only to have his shot from 15 yards frill off the crossbar. Graduate student
Ryan Grund (Princeton Junction, N.J.) attempted to head home the rebound but the ball was cleared out of danger
The Beavers finished with a 14-7 edge in shots and a 9-4 advantage in corner kicks.
