SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• No. 2 Babson (16-1, 8-0 NEWMAC) earned at least a share of its eighth straight regular season conference title on Saturday with a 5-2 victory over No. 19 MIT at MacDowell Field.

Brianne McGrath scored two goals, Marguerite tallied a goal and two assists, and the Beavers erupted with three fourth-quarter goals to secure the victory. Graduate students

Sanne van der Goes anchor a defense that has allowed just 13 goals in 17 games. Furmanek (0.77 GAA, .780 sv. pct) has started in goal every game over the past two seasons and leads the NEWMAC in goals against average and shutouts (8).
SCOUTING THE NOR'EASTERS
• UNE (8-8, 4-0 CCC) brings a five-game winning streak into Tuesday's game, with four straight one-goal victories, including a 1-0 verdict over No. 7 Tufts, and Saturday's 7-1 rout of Gordon that secured at least a share of the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) regular-season title.
• Six different players found the back of the net against Gordon. Sophomore Makena Valentine notched two goals, classmate Micaela Jacobs tallied a goal and an assist, and senior Morgan Mast, junior Lily Clough, and first-years Olivia Dwyer and Kate Kelso scored once each.
• Clough (6-3-15) has at least one point in seven of her last nine games and Valentin (6-0-12) has a pair of two-goal games. Robito (5-2-12) and Mast (3-2-8) are offensive contributors, and first-year Gianna Korisianos (0-6-6) leads the team in assists.
• First-year starter junior Dawn DeWeese-Moss (2.22 GAA, .698 sv. pct.) has started all 16 games for UNE and allowed just four goals while recording her first two shutouts of the season.
CONFERENCE HONOR
• McGrath was named NEWMAC Offensive Athlete of the Week on Monday after collecting nine points on four goals and one assist in a pair of victories last week.
• She is the sixth Beaver to earn NEWMAC weekly honors this season following Marguerite (9/11), Walsh (9/18), Marsh (9/25 and 10/2), Sharrow (9/25), and Furmanek (10/2).
BUSY BEAVERS
• Walsh has scored at least one goal in five straight games, totaling eight goals and one assist for 17 points in that span.
• McGrath has tallied at least two points in five consecutive outings, collecting six goals and four assists for 16 points in the that stretch.
• The Beavers have scored at least five goals in six straight games, matching its longest streak since scoring five times in six consecutive outings in 2021.
CALENDAR SUCCESS
• Babson has won 44 games in a row in the month of October dating back to a 2-1 loss at Montclair State on October 28, 2017.

• McGrath has upped her career totals to 47 goals, 27 assists and 121 points to rank eighth in program history in goals and points and tied for ninth in assists.
