SCOUTING THE LYONS
•   Mount Holyoke (8-7, 1-3 NEWMAC) snapped a two-match losing streak with a 3-1 win over Westfield State on Saturday afternoon.Â
•   Sophomore Madeline Barton finished with 21 kills and 12 digs, classmate Elle Rimando put away 13 kills and first-year Katie Frank added 10 kills for the Lyons, who hit .201 as a team.
•   Barton (3.78 k/s, 3.41 d/s) ranks second in the NEWMAC in kills, Rimando (2.05 k/s) is fifth in the league with a .323 hitting percentage and junior Lucie Berclaz is contributing 1.88 kills and 3.92 digs per set.Â
•   Sophomore Sadie Duffin is averaging 7.94 assists and 2.18 digs, while classmate Amelia Ringor is tied for first on the team in digs per set (3.92).Â

Ruby Reich, who made her season debut after returning from injury on Saturday, served up a career-high 10 aces to go along with 12 assists and 10 digs in the Beavers' four-set win over Wheaton.Â
•   The 10 service aces are the second highest total in a four-set match by a Division III player this season behind only Emily Ettien of Immaculata (N.J.), who recorded 12 aces in a win over Bryn Athyn on September 23.Â
STREAKING BEAVERS
•   Babson's 12-match winning streak is the program's third longest going back to 2017 behind only last year's 16 straight wins and the 22-match run without a loss back in 2019.
•   Entering the week, the 12-match streak is tied for the fourth longest in Division III with Ramapo behind only the defending national champions Juniata (40), Wisconsin-Oshkosh (20) and La Verne (14).Â
TRENDING
•   Going back to November of last year, Gips has hit .286 or better while recording at least one block in 10 consecutive matches.Â
