SERIES HISTORY

•    Babson is 4-3 all-time against Salve Regina in a series that dates back to 2003.
•    The Beavers have won two straight matches against the Seahawks although last year's contest was the first between the teams since 2013.
•    Saturday's match will be the first between Babson and Salve Regina as conference foes after the Seahawks joined the NEWMAC prior to this season.

LAST MEETING
•    Sophomore Isabella Allen finished with nine kills and junior Lauren Griffin added seven kills to lead a balanced attack as Babson defeated Salve Regina in three sets, 25-16, 25-17, 27-25, on September 23, 2022, in Newport, R.I.
•    Junior Lauren Gips recorded six kills, senior Ruby Reich handed out 16 assists and junior Tatum Stelter led all players with 21 digs for the Beavers.
•    Brighton Solheim and Madison Lee both had 10 kills and Kate Murphy totaled 15 digs for the Seahawks, who hit just .079 in the loss.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
•    Babson (18-1, 6-0 NEWMAC) extended its winning streak to 15 matches with a 3-0 victory over Simmons on Tuesday night.
•    Gips hit .500 and finished with 12 kills and four blocks, Allen put away a season-high 10 kills and first-year Zoe Ackerman handed out 30 assists to go along with nine digs for the Beavers, who hit .255 on the night.
•    Senior Erin Gray (3.03 k/s, .223 hitting pct.) and first-year Allison Molendyk (3.03 k/s, .241 hitting pct.) both rank among the top 10 in the NEWMAC in kills per set, Gips (2.63 k/s, 1.07 b/s) is hitting .415 and senior Lulu McShane is averaging 2.26 kills per set and hitting a .251 clip.

SCOUTING THE SEAHAWKS
•    Salve Regina (10-9, 0-6 NEWMAC) has dropped its last three matches and is coming off a 3-0 loss to Smith on Tuesday night.
•    Solheim finished with eight kills and nine digs and Siena DeCicco added four kills, seven digs and four assists for the Seahawks, who recorded just seven kills as a team over the final two sets.
•    Solheim (3.32 k/s, 3.11 d/s) ranks fourth in the NEWMAC in kills and leads the team with 43 service aces, Lucy Swanson is averaging 2.52 kills per set and Lauren Hoyle (2.27 k/s) is hitting .204 on the year.
•    DeCicco ranks fourth in the conference in assists per set (8.06), while Kate Murphy is averaging a team-high 3.45 digs per set.

STREAKING BEAVERS
•    Babson's 15-match winning streak is the program's third longest going back to 2017 behind only last year's 16 straight victories and the school-record 22 consecutive wins in 2019.
•    Entering the weekend, the Beavers' 15 wins in a row are tied for the third longest active streak in Division III with Lasell and trail only No. 1 Juniata's 43 straight victories and the 22 consecutive wins by No. 2 Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

TRENDS TO WATCH
•    Over the last two matches, Allen is averaging 3.00 kills per set while hitting .261.
•    In her last four outings, Gips has made just two attack errors and is averaging 2.83 kills and 1.17 blocks to go along with a .471 hitting percentage.
•    Stelter has finished with 12 or more digs in 11 of the last 13 matches and has recorded multiple service aces 12 times this season.

NUMBERS TO KNOW
•    The Beavers are 10-1 away from home this season.
•    A win on Saturday would help Babson start 7-0 in conference play for the second year in a row and just the third time in program history.
•    The Green and White has recorded more kills than its opponents in 18 of 19 matches this season.
•    Babson is 15-0 this season and 34-2 since the start of last year when holding its opponents to a hitting percentage of .150 or less.
