SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 22-21 all-time against Wellesley in a series that dates back to 1987.
• The Beavers have won five in a row and 16 of their last 18 games versus the Blue going back to 2007.

LAST MEETING
• Lexi Lenaghan '19 scored seven goals and totaled 10 points to help Babson defeat the Blue, 17-6, on March 23, 2019, in Wellesley, Mass.
• Sara O'Connor '21 and Juliana McGuire '21 both scored twice, Georgia Salvatore '21 dished out three assists and Isabelle Lent '21 led all players with six draw controls for the Beavers, who led 13-3 at halftime.
• Dacia Persky finished with two goals and two assists to lead Wellesley.
SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (8-5, 4-1 NEWMAC) has won its last three games after routing Wheaton, 20-4, on Wednesday night.
• Sophomore Nicole Darveau scored a career-high five goals, first-year Amelia Novitch scored four times and junior Erin Jayne added two goals and four assists for the Beavers, who raced out a 7-1 first-quarter advantage.
• Jayne (44-10-54) leads the conference in goals and points, while junior Claudia Dodge (26-12-38) is first in the league with 14 free-position goals and leads the team in both ground balls (33) and caused turnovers (22).
• Senior Courtney Kaskey (28-8-36) has scored seven goals over her last two games, first-year Clare Connolly is fourth in the NEWMAC with 66 draw controls, and classmate Kathleen Murphy owns a 10.81 goals against average and a .393 save percentage in 13 starts.
SCOUTING THE BLUE
• Wellesley (3-8, 1-4 NEWMAC) has dropped seven of its last eight games and is coming off a 14-8 setback against Emerson on Wednesday.
• Izzy Burdick scored three times, Julee Sharma added two goals and seven draw controls, and Lorna Li stopped 14 shots for the Blue, which trailed 9-8 entering the fourth quarter.
• Eleanor Mallett (30-9-39) ranks fifth in the NEWMAC in goals and points and leads the team with 43 draw controls, Burdick (15-18-33) is fourth in the conference in assists, and Liz Sugg (16-5-21) is tied for second on the squad with four free-position goals.
• Ryan Boone leads the team with 32 ground balls and 26 caused turnovers, while Li boasts a league-best .498 save percentage to go along with a 13.17 goals against average in 11 starts.
SMITH HITS THE CENTURY MARK
• Michelle Smith recorded the 100th win of her career on Wednesday night to join Kully Reardon as the only Babson head coaches in program history to reach the 100-win milestone.
• Smith is just 12 victories shy of matching Reardon for first place on the program's all-time wins list.
PLAYOFF PICTURE TAKES SHAPE
• With four games remaining in the regular season, the Beavers are one of three teams along with Coast Guard and MIT tied for second place in the conference standings at 4-1 behind unbeaten Springfield (5-0).
• Babson, which owns an OT victory over MIT and suffered its lone loss to Springfield, travels to Coast Guard next Saturday. The Bears, who lost to MIT on Wednesday, close the regular season by hosting the Beavers and Springfield.
• The top two seeds will host semifinal contests on May 4, while the third and fourth seeds will take part in quarterfinal action on April 30.
BEAVER BITES
• Jayne has at least one point in each of her 23 career games and enters Saturday's contest just six points shy of 100 for her career.
• Jayne and Dodge have both produced at least one goal in eight consecutive games, while Kaskey and Novitch are both riding six-game goal streaks.
• Connolly has won eight or more draws in each of the last three games and has finished with five or more draw controls in all of her last six outings.

• The Beavers are 7-0 this season when leading after the first quarter.
