SERIES HISTORY
• Babson and Ithaca will meet for just the second time on Wednesday afternoon.
• The Beavers are 0-1 against the Bombers after suffering a 14-9 loss back in 2016.

LAST MEETING
• Ithaca opened the game with four straight goals and built a 6-1 lead just over 15 minutes into the contest on the way to defeating Babson, 14-9, on March 14, 2016, in Clermont, Fla.
• Emily Bresnahan '17 and Charlotte O'Halloran '19 each scored four times and Kayla Farina '16 contributed four draw controls, three ground balls and two caused turnovers for the Beavers, who got as close as 8-6 early in the second half.
• Morgan Racicot finished with three goals and two assists, Elizabeth Sauer forced four turnovers and five players in all recorded multi-goal games for the Bombers, who converted 6-of-9 free-position chances.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (2-1) is coming off a 16-5 loss to No. 6 Middlebury on Sunday afternoon.
• Junior Courtney Kaskey finished with two goals, two ground balls and one caused turnover, while senior Sophia McCann, junior Erin Jayne and first-year Amelia Novitch all scored once for the Beavers, who were down just 9-4 early in the third quarter.
• Jayne (8-5-13) recorded 12 points in Babson's wins over Skidmore and Vassar, Novitch (7-0-7) and Kaskey (6-1-7) have combined for 13 goals, and junior Claudia Dodge (3-1-4) has contributed seven ground balls, a team-high five caused turnovers and three draw controls.
• Sophomore defenders Kayleigh Hacker and Zoë Michaud have both forced four turnovers and first-year goalie Kathleen Murphy has posted a 10.31 goals against average and a .446 save percentage in three starts.

SCOUTING THE BOMBERS
• No. 3 Ithaca (3-0) stayed unbeaten with an 11-2 win over Scranton in its home opener last Friday.
• Maizy Veitch and Madison Boutureira both scored three times and Sydney Phillips and Alexa Ritchie added two goals apiece for the Bombers, who got 11 saves from Lexi Held.
• Veitch (13-3-16) has scored at least three goals in each of the first three contests, Ritchie (8-2-10) has recorded three consecutive multi-goal games, and Boutureira (5-4-9) leads the team in assists.
• Caroline Wise leads the team with 28 draw controls, Rachel Rosenberg has contributed nine ground balls and six caused turnovers, and Held boasts a 4.40 goals against average and a .676 save percentage in three starts.

FREE-POSITION EFFICIENCY
• The Beavers have converted 11-of-16 free-position opportunities (.688) over their first three games, which ranks sixth in Division III.
• Babson's 11 free-position goals have accounted for a third of its offensive output over its first three games.

FINISHING TOUCH
• The Green and White enters Wednesday's contest ranked 18th in Division III in shooting percentage (.516) and has scored on better than 44 percent of its shots in each of its first three outings.

HOW YOU DRAW IT UP
• After recording a total of four draw controls over the first two games, first-year Clare Connolly led all players by winning seven draws in Sunday's loss against Middlebury.
• Connolly (11), Kaskey (7) and first-year Michaela Downer (5) have combined to collect 23 of the team's 35 draw controls over the first three games.

NUMBERS TO KNOW
• The Beavers are 2-0 this season when leading after the first quarter.
• Babson has allowed 10 or fewer goals in each of its last 10 wins going back to 2019.
• The Green and White has collected at least 10 draw controls in each of its first three games this spring.
